I could, and above all else he was already performing like sh*t at Liverpool. Made even worse by the fact Aguero was practically giving us free only fans performances. True, forgot about Aguero to be honest, having him at Chelsea for a decade would have been massive for us, compared to our constant striker search.
March 23, 20233 yr Is Tuchel in Bayern now, or after the season ends? I just haven't seen anything official yet. In any case, it's a good move, Nagelsman looked similar to AVB back in the days, good but too idealistic and inexperienced at top level. I honestly don't see us playing against Bayern in the next knock out round, both teams are serious underdogs regardless how optimistic fans are.

I think they’ll win the double, hard to look past Tuchel and the quality of Bayern squad. Theyre going to dominate Europe now, they have ridiculous depth.

Opting for Torres over Aguero is probably the key moment in the difference between both ours and Citys fortunes in the league over the last decade.

Thankfully we made the right choice this time round. Enzo would have equally come back to haunt us if he went to a rival.

Bayern scored 112 goals in 37 games under him, beat the trio of PSG, Barca & Inter, won all 8 CL games this season, kept 7 clean sheets in those 8 games, beat Barca in all 4 games he played against them, scoring 11 goals & conceding 0!, and he has done this without a No 9 & a partner for Kimmich. It is a ridiculous sacking when you consider they are still on track for a treble, gets even crazier when you consider they are a point behind Dortmund who they play next and haven’t lost to under Nagelsmann (2 wins & 1 draw). Can’t see Tuchel getting past a City led by a rampant Halaand. Personally will bin Potter ASAP for him but I have a sneaky feeling he is destined for Madrid.

I don’t doubt that Aguero would have won us more trophies, possibly another league title or two but that’s not the only reason. City made a lot of excellent signings such as David Silva, Kompany, Yaya Toure etc

I agree - incredibly tough sacking for Nagelsmann. The main thing he got wrong I guess was his timing in taking the job ... being the guy coming after Hansi Flick, who has one of the most insane performance records any club has ever had in his two seasons at Bayern. Anyone coming after that would have looked worse in comparison. Flick's two seasons : 7 trophies (including a League, domestic cup, champions league triple), 70 wins out of 86 fixtures for a win per cent of 81.4%, with only 7 defeats. Nagelsmann on the other hand has a "terrible" record as Bayern coach LOL. Played 84 Won 60 Drawn 14 Lost 10 Goals For 255 Goals Against 84 ; Win per cent 71.4%. It looks to me like the Bayern board has sh*t the bed after drawing City in the CL QF.
March 24, 20233 yr First 12 months - does well. After 18 months - sacked after falling out with everyone.
March 24, 20233 yr Apparently he wants to reunite with Mount. That'll be fun watching them two compete for the Champions League at Bayern while we travel to Armenia to face Pyunik on the Conference League with Potter in charge.

Jumping the gun there, we've got to qualify yet.

Any chance he can reunite with Kouli make peace with Lukaku aswell?

March 24, 20233 yr It's interesting how quickly Bayern got rid of Nagelsmann when Spurs were about to fire Conte and circling for TT. It seems they had lost faith in him some time back.

March 24, 20233 yr And now there is a genuine option if we do choose to pull the trigger on Potter. - our system very much based on red bull - have ex red bull sporting director - getting red bull attacker - ex red bull manager now available - makes more sense
