Has there been this much divide on a Chelsea manager in recent history? Sarri maybe?

Nah no one was divided on Sarri. Everyone thought he was sh*t, well apart from Gol.

I'm surprised people are turning on him so quickly. Not convinced there is another available manager out there who is better than him. We probably just need to shuffle the squad a little and find a way to start afresh.

Dont think he is a big enough name to handle the Chelsea dressing room. He has been immense, but do worry about the egos.

In the past maybe. But we don't actually have any egos anymore. They are all kids who don't know what they are supposed to be doing in the oppositions half.

Definetely Sarri, both Sarri and Tuchel play similar football (not the type that Chelsea are known for), along with not being household names. Tuchel gets more goodwill for winning the Champions League, but also a lot of bad sentiment for replacing Frank Lampard

It's not remotely close.  It's better than 15 of them at the most.

Good enough to have beat Leeds and Southampton.

But if you think this team has enough goals in it under any manager to compete with Kane/Son/Richarlison and Kuluveski or Jesus/Saka/Martenelli and Odegard over 38 games you simply don't know football.

We can do fine in cup games but over a league season smaller teams will sit back, we'll fall behind occasionally and we just don't have the fire power to break them down or change games.

Where are the goals or the attacking options for Tuchel?

The only top quality attacking option we have has just scored his 3rd goal in 2 games.

Not remotely close, but better than 15 ha ha, man you're funny.

This man thinks Pulisic, Ziyech and Havertz will outscore Kane, Son and Kuluveski under a different manager.

Conte is a fantastic manager but he'd walk out if he was left with as little talent in attack as Tuchel has to work with and you know it.

I thought he deserved a second season. As did Roman and marina. Sarri played sh*te football but got results, especially against the bottom 14, he could have got us results in that second season in my opinion and I think our style would have improved.

He won the title with Juve and with a win tomorrow is top of serie a with Lazio after 4 games.

Got to be Super Frank. I’d say it was 50/50.

Really? Thought it was unanimous. Didn't the vast majority want him to stay and were even gutted when he was let go?

So we are back to relying on individuals to win us games....

That is an awful way to run and manage a team, hoping for 1 or 2 individuals to bring the quality. We need a squad, with a defined effective way of playing, a plan b for the wet wednesday night in stoke, a bit of grit and will to win, and a coherent system that creates chances.

We have none of that at the moment.

Individual quality is what usually wins you games.

De Bruyne & Haaland does it all the time for City, Salah & Diaz for Liverpool, Kane & Son for Tottenham and so on.

Even on paper our attack is pathetic compared to any of our rivals. We have no chance of competing with what we have.

And yes, perhaps one could say Boehly & Tuchel should have had other priorities then. But they did also inherit a complete mess in defence and they were quite simply forced to address that first and now time is running out for us. But everyone knew we wouldn't compete with this attack of ours.

I feel like people were pretty unanimously supportive of him for the first season

Top 3, Europa League title. Sarri did the job regardless of what people think this is the bottom line.

One of the most underrrated managers in the sport. Shows how far charisma/likability goes when it comes to managers being rated by the football community

Those 3, for sure no. But they also aren't as bad as their current output would suggest. They have just gone backwards in this system. Same with Werner and Lukaku before them. No doubt if we sign a player like Aubameyang and he fails to make an impact, many will say he is not good enough too. But the fact remains that we have struggled offensively for a long time under Tuchel.

You'd be in for a surprise.

And as for Potter. We've had people on here who's whined about Tuchel's back three for over a year and a half.

Now you turn around and want someone who plays with the exact same system?

I love frank but he was clueless. Every presser after a game showed he didn't know what he was doing.

Both Sarri (keep) and Frank (out) I had a lot of arguments on here. Frank felt 50/50 to me, Sarri I was a pretty lonely voice.

Tuchel I am in the camp of "give him til Christmas" but that could change.

What about Sterling?

To be honest,

Jose mark 2 had us playing stagnant footy

Sarri was so boring

Lamps veered into clueless territory during the run that ended his reign with some awful football

Tuchels footy is dull as dishwater.

Fans will tolerate dull football as long as the results are generally decent. But when results are also not good, you have a problem.

Considering we are still playing "Sarriball" five seasons after he left and not winning trophies I'm more frustrated we hired him in the first place. He's responsible for completely changing the identity of the club and we've looked flat since that era.

I'd suggest our egos are all players Tuchel has benched or got rid of. So in my opinion Tuchel isn't managing the egos well either.

Whilst I am firmly Tuchel in, one thing that is worrying is the amount of defenders we're signing, we're clearly buliding for a 3 CB system. If Tuchel does go and the new manager wants a different system, what then?

He's not responsible for what the people after him did, anyone after him could have changed the way we played once again just like he did.
