Official Thomas Tuchel *Now Sacked*

Potter is manager of Brighton. We ring, he joins. If we get Poch we don't win a trophy until he's sacked.

Tuchel will have another 2 months to see what happens, but this should be the season he's created something and it's sh*t.

I'll spend the rest of my years wondering how sarri would have got on in year 2.

But Jesus Christ, not Poch. Anyone but Poch. Gamble on someone who could be great, not someone who isn't.

Believe me mate I don’t want Poch but it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if it was him.

Perhaps things will improve once certain players are back, and maybe further reinforcement arrive. But we have been woeful now for a while. most of the second half of last season was painful, and we seem to have carried on that way this season. The games we have won haven't been convincing and worryingly we have started to look all over the place at the back more recently.

We've already started the league poorly and will need to put a run together just to pull into contention with top 4. Plus the Champions league starts next week. I think TT will have to get things right quickly or the new owners will probably take action.  My guess is they will want to have a Director of Football in place quickly, and that person will probably then assess TT.

Potter & Postecogleu would be far better than Poch. The team is really struggling for form and it's been this way for a while under TT.

How can you not blame the players? You saw Pulisic when he came on.

How can Tuchel be blamed for players having no natural talent or basic ability? Someone giving the ball away every possession because he can't dribble or pass

I think Tommy got a lot wrong today and he's going to come under pressure but the lack of talent in forward positions is clear for all to see.

If Tuchel goes you'll see it under the next manager just as we saw it under Lampard.

I love to see PUlisic play well, but even I have to admit he's sh*t today (and most of last season).

This is essentially the same roster that won the CL 2 seasons ago.

What happened? What went wrong? Did all the players wake up one day and decided to forgot to play futbol?

I think our games this season have been as chaotic as our club and transfers. I can hope things settle down once the transfer window closes - which Tuchel mentioned.

He has to pull it together. The team look disjointed and uninspired. We should have won today given our start but we lacked urgency and that killer instinct. No ruthlessness at all.

To be Honest, yes some players are Deadwood but my God it's time to point the Finger on Tuchel.

We have no system, players are standing in attack situation and some players like Havertz or Broja have 1 chance the whole Game. Without Sterling this Game would be pretty bad for us.

Chill out, we had a change of ownership and loads of signings, plus a lot of players on really bad form.

Judge him by Christmas when he got what he wanted eg Fofana, Auba.

Far too early to be calling for his head, it’s knee jerk imo.

It's been like this for 12 months. New ownership has sod all to do with the way we play.

Tuchel has been great at times, particularly in big games - but he has been very much cup manager during his time here, who can do a tactical job in a specific game, but whose team is not creative or resilient enough to grind out results consistently.

We used to be a team that were hard to beat and nasty f**kers to play....that is no longer the case

We used to be a team that had winners throughout the squad...the  majority of the current players smell like bottle jobs.

We used to fight for a result and grind out wins. We dont anymore.

Layered on top of all this is the dull as dishwater play, insipid and uninspired. Tuchel has had long enough to stamp his style and preferred system on the team, so that stagnant play is on him.

After blowing however many hundreds of million on new players, I dont see TT getting sacked.  He is very clearly being backed, but I do worry about that. He has not shown ANYTHING over the last 18 months that he can coach an attacking, creative and versatile team. Instead he has consistently shown that he is defense first, risk averse, and very predictable and easy to sus out.

We've lost our best defender in Rudiger.

Lost our 4th best defender in Christensen.

Our 2nd and 3rd best defenders in Silva and Azpi are both past their prime, Silva is still quality but Azpi is done.

And our keeper has regressed dramatically.  Our starting fullbacks and midfielders are regularly injured.

We won the CL based on our defence,  Pulisic, Ziyech and Havertz have been abysmal since the day they came to English football way before Tuchel.  Our attack was terrible but we were solid.

Now the defence isn't solid we can't keep clean sheets and these Bums aren't capable of scoring the 2/3 goals a game it would take to win the match.

I still think we will click sooner rather than later.

Some changes are obviously needed. Scrap the back four experiment that so many have wanted, throw Havertz on the scrap heap and have Mount find himself a comfortable spot on the bench. Broja and Sterling up front with Jorginho, Kovacic and Gallagher in midfield in a 3-5-2 until Kante is back.

I want us to go back to the very basics. Forget about trying to get a fantastic attack out of these players. It's simply not going to work with the personnel we have. Sterling is the only one with actual quality and hopefully Broja will contribute with something beside him. Grind out some wins and get the season rolling because if we don't find our form very, very soon we are already in trouble for Top 4. And Top 4 is very much needed for the future competitiveness of our team.

Yes - for anyone shouting " knee jerk", I suggest they go back over 95% of the match threads over the last 18 months. It is literally the same sh*t week in week out!

Lack of urgency

Sideways/slow/backwards play

Lack of chances created

too easy to play against

no plan b

It is not knee jerk - it has been a pattern over a prolonged period of time. And i don't think it is a case of TT coaching the players out of it, I genuinely think this is how he wants us to play. Slow and steady does NOT always win the race!

Let's not beat around the bush. It is not as if we have lost to top 10 teams, we have got battered by teams tipped to be in relegation race. Yes, Southampton won 2-1, but we got battered and should have been worse. Leeds 3-0. This is not acceptable. This is the attack that most of us imagined at beginning of season and just look fruitless again. We already have a gap behind likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and City now. Not good enough. We are getting outplayed and his changes he makes at half time do not make any difference.

Yes, I think he can change it around, but no hiding from truth, we have bene shocking and the manager has to take blame for this as well. This is beyond awful.

Chelsea best defender is Silva

Christensen spent more than half of his time on the bench

You got Cucurella and Koulibaly to replace them

Tuchel couldn't get anything out of a $100M striker

The entire attack and midfield got worse under his tenure

When the ship sinks, people look at the captain.
