Please enjoy this high quality picture from 1986/87. I was born at the arse end if that season. Couldn’t name a single player mainly because they’re all a blur...

Edit: Obviously that’s Wee Pat Nevin front and centre...

We held league champions iverpool to a draw. Featuring a fantastic free kick from Barnes and a Hitchcock penalty save in the 85th minute.

Must explain why I'm such a glory hunter ?. I was born in the week when we were equal to the best team in the country.

Looked it up. We got relegated that season (via a playoff) despite only losing 2 home games all year.

Kevin Hitchcock

Joe McLaughlin

Stephen Wicks

Gareth Hall

Tony Dorigo

Steve Clarke

John Bumstead

Micky Hazard

Pat Nevin

Ossie and Tony Hateley are missing for some reason.

This was the team that played the day after I was born : a 2-1 win away at Burnley in February 1967 !

A slightly larger and more in focus version of the photo you posted 2 years ago further up the thread LOL

Technology has advanced in the last two years it seems.

Browsing through the forum normally takes me to the first unread post of the topic, how the f**k should I be anticipating someone would dig up a two year old thread and be expected remember something highly insignificant I did two years ago?
