I suggest you look at the whole move again. He had great movement to get in the position and mason overhit the cross, no striker in the world is scoring that unless they’re 8 foot tall.

See, we should have signed Crouchie!

What an incredible take, so are you saying every single accidental contact should be looked at as a red card? Don't be so ridiculous.

Where have I said that? Don't be one of those posters who put words in people's mouths. I never said "every single accidental contact should be looked at as a red card".

However I will go on record to say that every single accidental tackle that results in a players studs being raked  halfway up another players leg, should be looked at as a red card. You can quote me on that next time. 😀

You got to love Werner, he just basically said that he was happy to come back and scoring one was fine, scoring two would have been too much

It’s good that he can take the piss out of himself to be honest.

1) what breed?

2) any pics?

He's a shih tzu.  Runs with short choppy steps just like Timo.  I'll try to upload a pic once my nerves start to settle down hopefully by tomorrow afternoon.

Edit:  He hits the pee-pad with about the same regularity that Timo finds the open net.

It didn't end with him "Raking" him at all, his leg had to go somewhere when he's kicked through it.

It’s laughable mate honestly, be the same folk saying Werner was put off by the keeper and that’s why he was unable to hit the target from 2 yards out on his strong foot.

I knew some f**kwits on here would jump on it to show Tuchel was right or something.

On the Abraham header, my first impression was that he didn't get any height on his leap at all ... He's 6'3" ... the crossbar is 8' ... seemed to me that the ball was well below crossbar height, but I could be wrong. I'd need to see it again.

Much more unforgivable then wanting to see a picture of a little puppy

It wasn't even a tackle though, he was clearing the ball. If he was attempting a tackle, then a red card would have been fair, but he wasn't. He was just clearing the ball and both players have collided through natural momentum.

The problem he had was he had gone in twice and stopped to stay onside, when the cross came in it was a standing jump and slightly behind him so couldn't get any momentum. There's no way he can be called out for that.

It is irrelevant. You are not allowed to stud an opponent's leg at the knee. End of.

We are all only guessing at intent - personally I don't think he intended it, but again, intent is irrelevant if the ref thinks that the resulting collision was dangerous foul play.

It is all subjective, and if the ref thinks it was dangerous foul play, then the debate is over.

Out of interest, are you saying that studs into the knee is a) allowed within the rules or b)  not dangerous?
