Anyone that thinks PL refs are bad just needs to watch these Euros. The ref in the Italy vs Austria game is once again completely clueless. So many incredibly stupid decisions, I am shocked.

Austria’s goal offside but they’ve been playing better than Italy this second half so far. Quite an entertaining game.

VAR works perfectly with nice quick decisions till Stuart Attwell gets involved.

Proving without doubt that it's a problem with Premier League refs. He took way too long with both decisions tonight.

Your point is still correct though. The ref in the Wales v Denmark game was awful too. Booked a Welsh player for heading the ball and catching the Danish player on the way down, even though he could do nothing about it. I don't think the red card was fair either. 

The thing that is doing my head in is refs blowing 30 seconds before added time is up. Added time is supposed to be minimum, no less than that.

Him, Veratti first 45 mins, and Spinazzola for me are all good candidates. 

Game over for Austria. They’ve been good, but extra time has killed them. I’d give MOTM to Alaba or Sabitzer. 

This has been more like the Italy I remember in tournament football. Haven't looked great, but are grinding it out.

Austria have really plugged away and had a couple of decent chances. 
Just scored so game on.

Very entertaining game. Austria did deserve a bit more luck.

Italy is now on 31 games without defeat, the longest unbeaten run in history of national teams. Shame that Jorginho didn't cover the near post, they would have had another clean sheet.

Some match, Italy were poor for me until extra time.

Spinola chap was the exception.

I don't watch Serie A yet Immobile looked poor very clumsy apart from one shot.

With injury time running out, was wondering where Italy's leaders were and Jorginho breaks the lines and gets fouled on the edge of the box. 

So they have a free kick, was expecting a clever move and someone to shoot from distance yet Bonucci puts in a cross easily cleared by the taller Austrians.

In extra time Mancini shuffles the pack and Chiesa and Pessina score two cracking goals.

Austria keep going and pull one back with a great header from a poor corner. They have more chances though no more luck.

I lose my accumulator as Italy did not win in normal time.

Austria showed a lot of determination and hard work to stop Italy for large periods and nice to see Vialli in good spirits.
