Southampton and Brentford have been playing in the same system for a while now so that helps a lot.

I really wonder how ManU gonna get out of this mess, they have so many players that dont fit together, they dont have a good midfield and we still don't know who's going to coach them next season !

He's not that bad as i first thought, around 12 goals a season since 2017, only 3 this season so far.

I actually think thats a fairly sensible signing in the circumstances, Theres not many strikers available who will fit right in to help them in their fight against relegation, its perfect for Trippier to cross to and also weakens their rivals. If I was a Newcastle fan (god forbid) I would be happy to see them making signings like this rather than some £60 Spaniard lightweight.

Wait, aren't the chances of a false positive supposed to be really low? almost impossible when it's as many as he is claiming.

What an absolute load of crap. It was fishy from the beginning, but this pretty much confirms it for me, they cheated their way out of playing against Arsenal. Using the pandemic for personal gain has to be a new low.

Well they were one of the first clubs to apply to put their workers on furlough, so what do you expect. Horrible horrible club.

There is no such thing as a 'new low' as far as that sh*tehouse bunch are concerned. They will plumb any depths.

Zambia referee Janny Sikazwe then initially blew for the end of the game with 85 minutes on the clock, his timekeeping obviously letting him down.

But after correcting himself he still ended the match in the 90th minute, despite a number of stoppages in the second half, including two VAR checks.

Tunisia were furious and officials stormed the pitch in protest, but the man of the match trophy was handed out and the post-match news conferences in full swing before Confederation of African Football (CAF) officials decided the remaining minutes should be played.

Mali came out onto the pitch to play 40 minutes after the controversy began, but Tunisia refused to play on and Sikazwe ended the game for a third time.

Three full times . Utter chaos :laugh2:

Conte looked like he was going to cry last night after the match. Sky sports gave an interesting table of his signings at his clubs. Basically he signs ready made older players.  I can’t see Levy doing that at all. Matter of time before he explodes.

Apparently the ref was taken to hospital with heatstroke after the game. Take from that what you will...

While it's funny it's not good. It's exactly the sort of logistical mess which takes credibility away from African football. I don't know whether @Jon Stakes is still around but would be interested in hearing his perspective if he is.

Maybe he should stick to that policy, the last time he signed a young up and comer we got Bakayoko. Though now that he is at Spurs I encourage him to go for it

Xhaka is such a liablity. Can't believe he still gets picked.

Arsenal are just a poorly run club. When I know the new season of Cobra Kai is dropping on Netflix on New Year´s Eve, I call his wife and have her change the password.

Watched the last 10mins and Arsenal doing ok and then I hear they are down to 10 man due to Xhaka.

If Arse can keep it 0-0 that would be a result with just 10.

Personally would prefer to face Liverpool in the final as we seem to play better.

72% possession 0 shots on target after 80+ minutes

Ended up 78%, 17 shots, 1 on target (BBC app) although I don’t know where that 1 came from as the commentary team on my stream didn’t see it.

Super miss by Minamino near the end. 6yds out, keeper stranded, 1 defender on the line and he decides to blast it; row z.

I’m unsure who I’d prefer on the final. On the one hand Arsenal is easier on paper and the atmosphere at the match will be friendlier as they are a calmer lot. On the other hand Arsenal seem to have our number in the national cup finals and we are playing better against Liverpool, but the bindippers are a nastier lot and it could be trickier around Wembley.
