Not to mention why would he want to live amongst those Scallies?

If Sean Dyche can turn down Everton thats all you need to know. Like the other bunch of mickeys I could care less about them, but the depths they've fallen to (for a club with pedigree ) is staggering.

Why do clubs keep hiring the fat Spanish waiter, he's failed consistently since Liverpool, his tactics and style of play are abysmal and tedious, and he's a divisive gobsh*te.

Bemusing that he's got so many jobs and Chelsea are to blame for that in large part, We handed him a good team that Di Matteo was building and despite fluffing most trophies because he won the Europa it looked good on his CV.

But he barely lasted five minutes at Real Madrid and Inter Milan, which speaks volumes about his suitablility to big clubs.

I thought it spoke volumes that he took a job in China but god knows what was going through Everton's head to offer him that job and frankly they only have themselves to blame for the mess they find themselves in for appointing him in the first place.

Reputation is a big thing in football.

Mou is still getting decent jobs despite his present day level probably not even being top flight.

Lower down the league the likes of Bruce and Pardew kept getting jobs due to half decent work in the mid 00s.

I think Benitez will get one last shot at a big/biggish job. Carlo looking shot at Everton to (likely) league success at Real will mean a potential employee somewhere will give him the benefit of the doubt it was a club problem more than him.

Completely agree about about the reputation thing. There's defintely managers in English football who have bemusingly had countless jobs for no apprent reason and seem to get employed because they're tried and tested despite never being particularly successful everywhere they've been.

Personally I was surprised Ancelotti took the Everton job, seemed like such a big step backwards for him but I suspect that he was at a point where he just wanted to get back into management. Carlo's problem, if you can call it that, is that he's had so many of the top level jobs I guess it's a case of where do you go next. A problem I think Mourinho is starting to have too.

But Ancelotti has had sustained success throughout most of his career and I think was deserving of another chance at a club like Real Madrid whereas Benetiz hasn't really achieved anything of note since leaving Liverpool. That's 10 years of mediocrity. I can't see any big clubs wanting to give him a job ever again.

He'll likely end up in Qatar, China or mid table Spanish side.

Not surprised, this is the guy who absolutely loses his sh*t stomping on the ground and smashing his phone when Arsenal lose. AFTV hire 'characters' and they end up being genuine loonies. A previous regular or let's be honest, employee Claude committed suicide.
Who knows if the infamy and attention makes things worse for people like this.

Benitez's best work was at Valencia and Liverpool, but that's over a decade ago now.

Had a chance to restart his coaching career with us, after 2 years out of management.

Did a decent job at Napoli. Did the bare minimum at Newcastle.

Failed at Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Everton.

Cashed in by going to China.

He might go back to Newcastle if they give up on Howe, or head back to Spain.

DT's a piece of sh*t. He deserves to be sitting in a jail cell for his crimes.

Claude died of natural causes, not suicide.

I think another AFTV regular died from suicide not long before.

Edit: No, it was a heart attack:

Quote

Reality TV star Heavy D, real name Colin Newell, tragically died aged 47 in November 2020.

The larger than life character was a former AFTV regular who was celebrated for shouting his catchphrase “Boom” after Arsenal victories.

The TV star died of a suspected heart attack after he was found by his brother.

A yellow card for time wasting (the easiest deliberate yellow)... When you're 4-1 up... and after a bunch of people place big bets on it happening.

Big game for Spuds today. Beat Leicester then win at the Bridge and they will be a good place to go for top 4 with no Europe or League cup games now.

Don't say such horrible things :shok:

The way Spurs move the ball from back to front so quickly is exactly what we are lacking. The goal, Kane miss and other chances is just seconds between winning the ball back and making a good chance.

We would need triple the time just to get the ball to Kovacic or Kante...

Patson Daka scores. Player we should have bought but no we had to buy the shiny toy.

His team mates have been absolutely sh*t aswell yet he's still made a difference.

It's almost like you don't need the team to have a perfect game and gear up everything towards you to score a goal, who knew!

Right? Top players make things happen on their own. Lukaku is an average player with a teenager mentality.

He would score more at Spurs though, those passes to Kane he would love to get.
