April 23, 20224 yr Utd have done the right thing knowing they are sh*te, no European football next season and concentrate getting their act together unlike our lot who it appears have put themselves who think they can take top 4 by cruising the last few games. Looks we have to endure another gloating press conference from Arteta

April 23, 20224 yr I could see Pritti Patel and the border guards stood on the beaches in Gooners shirts pointing to ‘Visit Rwanda’ as the illegals get out of the boats.
April 23, 20224 yr We really need to get a least 4 points from the West Ham & Man Utd games to ease any nerves. And with the Rudiger news the last thing we need is end of season nerves with our biggest character on the way out. Edited April 23, 20224 yr by 2211

United are showing how sh*t Arsenal, and themselves, really are here yet Arsenal put 4 past us when they could not score the 3 games before it. Both were sh*t to be honest. The level of defending between the two were just comical. If that was pool that Arsenal played instead of United, they would put 4 past them in the 1st half. How in the hell we lose against this Arsenal team.

April 23, 20224 yr We really are miles and miles and MILES behind City and Liverpool domestically. Heck we might even be struggling with a resurgent United team (under a fantastic manager) and a Newcastle side inflated by a summer of transfers akin to us in 2004. We really have to be careful but every time I see our rivals, it just gets further apparent how far behind we really are. It’s just the basics of football that seem to be running at higher speed with those lot. Fair play City, a wonderful team.

It's like I have been saying for a while, we have the talent, but we don't have the motivation to show it game after game. I look at Liverpool and they rarely pass backwards once they cross the halfway line. They are always trying to find their attackers, and they do it game after game. City are a possession team like us, but they move the ball with so much more purpose, they are constantly looking to make things happen, and again, they are motivated enough to do it game after game. I have seen many of our players talk a big game over the years, but that is all it seems to be because by the end of the season, they always come up short. Edited April 23, 20224 yr by Scott Harris

We have to give Tuchel the players he needs for his system this summer; if not, we can forget about it. If we do give him his players and we still feel short, he isn’t good enough to take use forward. The cookie crumbles in 2023. Just have to see if it’s on hard flooring or carpet. PS I have no idea what the f**k I mean by that haha.
April 23, 20224 yr What a job Eddie Howe is doing at Newcastle. Since Xmas, Newcastle are won 10 drawn 3 lost 3 in the PL. To match that we would need to win our next three PL games. All the more remarkable considering none of the players they signed in January are ones you'd get particularly excited about ...

I think when we have a full team (even without Chilwell) we are good. I don't rate City that much often as in big games if KDB is not playing they struggle or lose. Of course with Haaland coming you expect them to improve though I think Haaland may not prove to be a good signing for them. Even with such a strong team to beat the best they need KDB. Without Chilwell, Kovacic and Rudiger we are struggling.

Absolutely are, and is very Liverpool of us to think our historic levels of strength under Roman means we have a right to compete with them. They have spent mostly wisely on class and backed the 2 best managers in the game. So long as Pep and Klopp are there we won't be winning the title again.

We play a bit like a team of kids, taught to protect the ball at all times in preference to making more risky passes with higher reward. Hence we are constantly recycling the ball instead of seeing the runner and playing it through. Our pitch dimensions at home are similar to Liverpool ( on the smaller size), Liverpool use this to their advantage and hem teams in, we though by slow buildup allow teams to use the less width to their advantage with a low block.
April 23, 20224 yr You get your pocket picked these days if you hesitate looking for a pass. They only have a second which is why they only have time to briefly look and suspect they only look down one side of the pitch which is why so often it goes backwards and runs get missed.
