Too many of twitter and YouTubers creating a storm in a tea cup.. they need to create controversy and outrage and sensationalise everything for traffic..

the problem is everyone is a villain in such instances.. let the lad be .. he is confident and thinks he is good that can only be good for the club .. no concerns with him he is entitled to ask questions .. 

Livraminto did this too immediately after we won the UCL and for some reason we wanted to bring in hakimi..

Badiashile is still injured right? Colwill should have no issues starting as the number 1 LCB at the beginning of the season as long as he is fit.

As I pointed out, or tried to, it is early days and there was no attempt at creating a drama, it is just a bit of a flag if there was any truth behind the comments

He’s doing the right thing in asking to meet the manager before he commits to a new deal.

He has plenty of suitors and playing regular football will likely be his main objective over money.

I can see him being in a regular rotation with Fofana and Badashiele. I honestly can’t see Silva playing regularly and if we’d had more players with experience I’d have let him go back to Brazil even though he was probably our best player last season.

Disproportionate sample size but still very impressive. 
 

 

I got a feeling he’ll leave. Hope I’m wrong, but think he’ll run his contract down.

Murdyk has played enough game to judge his current level. You can see the potential but you also see so many flaws in his game.

As a relative novice - 29 games for Shakhtar - there will obviously be flaws. His upsides were on show last night against France U21.

although how are we going to assure him that he will be first choice? Like Pochettino says, you are there to train and not to play, you play when you train well enough and you are the best player in that position at the time.

the kid had one good season with Brighton and he is demanding to be a starter, he should pipe down a bit. He is not leaps and bounds above a fully fit Fofana and he is not better than Thiago Silva. Next season with Thiago gone he will definitely become first choice, so i don't know what his problem is

if he doesn't sign a new contract we should just let him rot in the B team until 2025 or excommunicate him to Strasbourg

Nobody knows how things will pan out, yet he's already a snake?

Colwill has 2 years plus a club option for a 3rd. No need to panic on a new deal.

 

If he is as good as he thinks he is, and I agree I think he is on his way to be our own Maldini, then he takes Badiashile place and we get him to sign a new deal as he plays most games.

Seriously, "even considering" is enough to be labeled a snake? What are you, the thought police? It's his right to consider it, and it's his right to actually do it, as long as he reports for training and is available for match days.

Not this again  When clubs offer insane money, it's not surprising most of them will take it. They view a club as just an employer, just like we do with our jobs. It's only the supporters who stay faithful to a club. They're not many players left who spend their entire career at one club.

To be fair to Levi as well why should he not consider interest from Liverpool, Arsenal and especially City?

Each of those clubs are much further along in their projects than we are.
