Also why is Ziyech taking a pen when the game is won, let Hall take it lol. I think most of them were treating like a pre-season friendly. Could have scored more but they all got greedy and selfish, trying to go for glory themselves.

Trying to take on the entire opposition on their own when they could play in a team mate through on goal instead - surely an assist is a positive impression too?

Not really. Everybody played a professional game against a team many leagues below us. We bossed the game, fans from both sides had a good time. I just think you need to sit back and enjoy these types of games.
January 8, 20224 yr Surprised we sa so many first team players. I thought there might have been a couple of other youngsters in the starting line up. We only had Hall in there who I suspect made the team because of the defender situation. Thoughts Sissons(?) and Vale would have started given they played well against Brentford
January 8, 20224 yr Amazed people are finding complaints over today. Played a non-league team, won extremely comfortably without leaving 1st gear. Players wouldn’t have expended too much energy ahead of bigger games coming up. Ideal day.
January 8, 20224 yr Strong h1. Lukaku trying a bit hard and lacking a bit of confidence, very evident when he passed to cho rather than shooting at one point. lewis Hall lookedexcellent and cho looked better than the other wide players midfield it’s just obvious that RLC and Barkley aren’t up to it. They can run with the ball just fine but they don’t use it well. No sense for the right pass or ability to execute. Particularly Barkley. Sarr also played well for the most part. Happy with how he is coming along. Edited January 8, 20224 yr by ozboy

They’ve got a nice easy match against Bottlejob FC midweek to take it easy before the big game at the weekend though!

Werner, Lukaku, Christensen, Kovacic they have had injuries / illness and need game time to keep their match fitness up. Sarr, Saul and Ziyech don't get as much game time, so of course they were going to start.

Over here we have Dazn so can see most other games ( I am hoping club world cup but we will see) just not the FA cup.

Ziyech tries too many hollywood passes and we are just not critical enough... On the positives more time in the middle for out second string... Saul is doing better and lot of people scored. And CHO who although scored a good goal, still can't beat a defender one on one and these are non-league players...shocking

There were quite a few suggesting that he be resigned in one of Simon Johnson's athletic UK article this week on Saul. Some appeared to be serious although some may have been trolling Johnson.

January 9, 20224 yr A really classy club. Chesterfield are currently 2nd in the National League. I hope they gain promotion into League Two.
January 9, 20224 yr Shows how much I have lost touch with the lower leagues. I thought Chesterfield were still in Div 3 or Div 4. Didn't realise they had dropped out of the league until yesterday!
January 9, 20224 yr We have Plymouth Argyle at home in the next round. Shame it's at home, if it was at Plymouth, I would try and get tickets.

Back when we had cable could see it there, however saving money was needed and it was the only thing we used cable for. Everything else is Netflix or Dazn. Was a choice between cable and Dazn, Fa Cup games, some league and some CL vs League cup, all league games and all CL games.
