Southampton play big team football with lesser players. Admirable but this can happen. You never see this much space against smaller sides between lines and in their box.

That is why Liverpool originally wanted him. It's nice to beat our rivals to a signing now and again, but I would rather we bought players more suited to how we are going to play. I suppose with the amount of managers we go through, there was always a chance one of them would play a way that got the best out of him.
