For me we play our strongest team this is almost a 6 pointer in the race for top 4.

Arsenal, WHU and Utd are our next three fixtures we could drop points in any if we drop our guard.

It's not a six-pointer really, we have to lose 4 games of the remaining 8 (the same amount we have lost in the last 30 league games) for any of the chasing pack to have any glimmer of hope of catching us. Looking at our remaining fixtures we can easily achieve 3rd and be able to rest players if needed.

Yep. Even if Arsenal somehow sh*t out more points against us tomorrow we'll still 5 points clear of them with a game hand and an easier run in.

Kova out for a minimum of 2 weeks with ligament injury.

That means he’s out for at least a month. We just can’t take a f**king breather can we!?

With Kova you are right sadly he always takes ages to recover.

Just want we need...

Exactly it must simply be the rivalry that are making people lose common sense with this fixture. Players like Mount, Havertz and James should be rested.

We don't need any of my negativity to achieve third, we will grab it am sure.

We need our very best and new top levels to beat pool and the refs.

If we were to lose then draw the next two (WHU and Utd both away) and Arsenal win 3 matches (or Spurs might)  they would be very close though we would have a match in hand.

Its possible but highly unlikely, and even if it did happen we would still be fourth, as arsenal, spuds, man utd, whu, all play each other so they cant all win.

We've only beaten WHU away once in the last 5 attempts and we have not beaten Utd at Old Tr afford in the last 8 attempts.

This is why I really think we should go strong against Arsenal at the other venues whether bad luck or refs falling for the crowd we have recent poor records there.

We play West Ham at home.

WHU on Sunday is at the Bridge not away.

Why am I envisioning another Jorginho cock up?

You are probably having flashbacks to the same home game last season which we lost 0-1 when Jorginho had a right old mare and yet TT decided to take off Billy Gilmour who had been our best player up to that point.

From the BBC match report

"Jorginho's error will have been disappointing for Tuchel. The midfielder misjudged a pass back that was in danger of trickling over the line before Kepa Arrizabalaga managed to claw the ball away but only to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who teed up Smith Rowe to slot in".

Based on TT presser I believe this will be our line up tomorrow.

Mendy

Chalobah

Silva

Rudiger

James

Kante

Jorginho

Alonso

Ziyech

Lukaku

Werner

I think he will aim for James and Alonso to ideally come off and be rested during the second half.

Mount and Havertz to be rested.

Havertz rested for what? West Ham? This is a bigger game for us than the weekend. I'd rather go full strength tomorrow, then rest players in the weekend.

Rested due to him and Mount having played a lot of high intensity games recently and that risks them picking up strain injuries.

We have come into form after a brief blip and as is usual at the business end of the season the gooners have fallen off a cliff and are desperate for a win............

The recent outcome in similar scenarios has seen us lose, while I'm not promoting that concept at all, the situation could be rife for complacency ahead of this important derby, just had 3 great games in a row lets make it 4 and batter the bastards like fish & chips

Arsenal come into this game on a poor run of form, but we've seen how similar situations have played out in the recent past. I hope we beat them convincingly this time and scupper their chances for top 4.

Concerned about our midfield.  TT was screaming at Jorginho on Sunday, and can see him starting Kante and RLC tomorrow.

We need to be at it.  3 points and we're one step closer.  Bring a level of intensity they can't match.
