She has been an asset for the club, but glad she is leaving. No one to hide behind if we make the wrong moves in the market going forward.

I think this probably makes sense - she was Roman's right hand lady. With the new owners coming in it is probably the right decision to draw a line under her tenure whilst the club looks to operate in a different way.  

I have just read that Boehly wants to take on all responsibility for transfers himself, whilst giving Tuchel a big say in the type of players we go after. That feels like a massive shift from how we have operated the last 5-6 years or so - hopefully it works for us.

No one on the planet has done more damage to this club than Marina.

I was concerned Boehly didn't fire/replace her day 1 but the fact she's leaving so quickly is an enormous positive for us   hopefully she's gone by the end of the month like Buck and we can actually have a decent transfer window.

Some people need someone to blame. Out of the top 6 we still probably rank 2nd behind only city of fanbases who don't trash their board. Which is a good sign of how well Marina and the board did under Roman.

Strange comment given thats exactly the opposite kind of work to what Marina has done. Infact she prefers to see us lose our best players on free transfers because she's too busy mooching on Romans Yacht to negotiate with them.  Rudiger said himself he'd have re-signed if Marina didn't start ghosting him half say through the season for no reason

And she's the type to spend 58m on a bench warmer from a weaker league and pay him 150K a week so we can't actually get rid of him.

She's been embarrassingly bad at her job and is a huge part of why we've fell away from the top table since she took on her responsibilities.

The only positive impact Marina has had is on the Reputation of Emenalo who looks like an absolute genius in comparison.

Perhaps her departure is now planned to coincide with Buck's? 

I'm trying to form a picture about Boehly taking on all responsibility for transfers... Is that just financial or also deciding for which player are we going to negotiate? Or is it just a way of saying he's in charge no matter the others who have a financial stake in the club too? That would amount to a power grab.

I'll miss seeing her soft face in our 'transfer complete' photos, with the new player in question grinning inanely at the camera, pen in hand, also counting down the hours till he gets home so he can w**k over said photo of himself and Marina.

Sackings were ordered by Roman and transfers were agreed by our scouts. But sure, lets blame the woman and the American because they don't belong in the English mans game! We won absolutely everything with those two in their positions too, or do they only take the blame and no praise? As previously mentioned, bore off.

You mean Rudiger would have signed if we'd offered him £350k after 1 good season in a back 3?

The scouts wanted Pulisic, not a single person moaned about the transfer fee and wages when he was carrying us under Lamps.

Rudiger did not want 350K a week last year and would never have gotten it,  he only now has high wage demands because we chose to let one of if not the best CB in the world over the last 18 months contract expire because Marina wouldn't negotiate with him.  It's even worse when you realise she f**ked up the Kounde deal because she missed a simple deadline,  authorised a terribly low option to buy for Tomori meaning we didn't get what we should have for him and let all 4 of our centre backs enter last season with a year left on their contracts.

But hey at least she signed Sarr to a 120K a week deal so we know he's not going anywhere for a long long time 

The scouts didn't choose to pay 58m for a guy who wasn't good enough for Bundesliga with 1 year left on his contract.   From a football perspective it's one of the worst and most insane transfer fees of all time.  I genuinely thought they'd missed a decimal point and every single person on the planet thought it was a terrible fee,  neutrals laughed at it.  Dortmund fans laughed at it and even on this forum people thought we'd massive overpaid.   As usual because Marina isn't very good at negotiating transfers.

It was widely reported we offered him wages over 200k, if we went back to a back 4 you'd be the same person moaning we now had the sh*t Rudiger sat on high wages and unable to get rid of him. Rudiger leaving was more down to the fractures left over from Lamps time here. f**ked up the Kounde deal? what deal? We're in negotiations for him you weapon. Tomori was sold for a good price given his experience, another one that Lamps ostracised and didn't play for almost ayear so wanted out. Or is it Marina's fault Lampard refused to play him? Suppose she should have chose our line ups too.

Sounds about right, Although marina is a classy Russian not much stuff that got done was her choices she simply negotiated fees and sorted the ffp stuff along with a room of folks, So essentially all she really did was oversee and poorly negotiate high wages and fees for many players that were in the end naff!

I read about boehly being super involved with player acquisitions with his involvement in the other club he has shares in and then I proceeded to imagine the Moneyball film situation etc!

I think cech should stay and yes you can pick and choose, Boehly will do what he wants and its also a clever move to include one of legends of the club esp as hes a class act and a smart guy

Also be interested if this has come about because of the lack of movement or that in of itself was a sign or its simply that all the media haven't got a connected source at all and are reporting waffle from internet goons!
