Good question. Our Rangers fans thought he was not quite ready and cleaning solution FC was better for his development.

Agreed. But at some point Havertz has to "be himself" more than a handful of times a season. Right now, Jesus offers a whole lot more in way of consistency.

But he's a million miles better than Pulisc, Ziyech and Werner.

A lot of dross to clean out and Jesus would have been a good solid piece of our attack for years to come.

And Havertz has "been himself" for about 20 games since he signed for us so it's not like we don't need Jesus because of Kai.

again looks like a failure in the making like declan rice chase under lamps.. Leicester only sell at their own terms and which means nothing less than 70 mil.

Fofana is on the list of possibilities. But not near the top.

 

I think we will go back for another bite (failure) with Kimpembe, before we go for Fofana

£70m is way too much. Especially for not an elite player.

But I think it’s kinda obvious Fofana is going to become one of elite defenders in the world in a few years time. He already was one of the better defenders in league before his injury. Because of our current situation, I say just Chuck 60m at Leicester and hope for the best.

I would be very happy with Fofana, regardless of how much he cost.

He's only, what, 21 so maybe he's not in the elite category now but if we landed him he most definitely could be in a couple of years.  That and imagine how much he could learn from Koulibaly and Silva.  Finally, he's already premier league ready so he won't need "a year to settle in".  

As far as this transfer goes it all makes sense but we'll no doubt get absolutely fleeced as everyone knows we need a defender and Leicester are in no rush to sell and will only sell on their own terms.

i would absolutely get him regardless of the price. He was and is my #1 choice. Now he is also a bit under the radar because of his injury. We don’t want him to have a brilliant season and end up in a bidding war.

if we get fofana all of our failures in the transfermarket actually helped us getting the best possible CB 

He is absolutely going to be worldclass. And even if he needs 3 seasons to develop into a world class defender, he will still only be 24 or 25. 

we could loan them Colwill in return so they already have a replacement.

Always impressed me whenever I saw him play. Could be a top signing but Leicester would probably demand a fortune given that his contract has five more years on it.

Also there's an issue of his long term injury. I haven't really seen him since he came back. If he's back to his best, Fofana would be top of my list. Not a big name, but as far as defending goes, he's excelllent.

Just do a barca, turn his head send out the friendly media to make it known and then lowball Leicester, Offer some iberico pork and chorizo and we should be set lads
