Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2022/23

It's unreal that City won the title with 3 games to go, even in April it looked like a title for Arsenal to lose. Like others have said before, if Arsenal fans believe next season will be theirs to challenge the title again, they got a shock coming. Liverpool, United, even us and Spurs will get better next season, they will be doing really well to secure a top 4 spot next year. It is their 'Leicester' season for them, they still drag into the final week, let alone winning it.

Have you watched Bayern play this season under TT? I am just curious what is happening to them.

I don't think there is much difference other than the fact that they lost Lewandowski. Both Bayern and Dortmund losing their best players has made the league weaker, but at the same time more competitive.

I probably should have said, before after TT. I remembered they were on course for treble. I only watched them once this season. It was their cl match against city. They looked very similar to us under TT but I have never watched them under nagelsman

i would assume there will be actions taken

if you throw a plastic cup on the pitch in the dutch competition they stop the game lol

It would be ironic for Rice to get punishment.

One paper said about a dozen stewards just got out the way and it took police 10 mins to arrive.

I find it difficult to believe at a minimum the stewards did not grab one or two on their way out.

You can bet if this happened in the UK the media would be screaming about the need to stamp out football hooliganism yet hardly a murmur.

Looks like leeds will be going down then

Southampton down ..done the double over us.

Leeds ..almost down..beat us 3-0 at their gaff. Mind you, it could be anyone this season and they would have been someone who beat us

Well, come the 10th of June they’ll finally topple us and god knows how this table could end up looking like if Pep is there for a Fergie reign.

Surely nobody, not even those who have brought the charges, actually believe that City will get found guilty of anything?

These charges against City feel similar to the arrest warrant for Putin. Best of luck with that…

Pretty much that, with a top legal team and money to burn, it's only a matter of time before case closed and everyone move on to the next trending matter. Unlike the trouble Roman faced, the British government will look the other way , and leave this to the lawyers to argue it out

Been thinking about the Spurs job and how it’s a massive rebuild for them. Kane will surely leave this summer (they will cash out). Outside of Son, who is 30, there is no real quality in the side. It will be hard for spurs to get a manager as well as they will all want Kane to be in there.

It will be very interesting if any of these charges stick, as I`m almost certain there are loads of other clubs who have done, and are doing, the exact same things.

Looking forward also to seeing UEFA and FIFA come down hard on the racist Spanish fans, I mean any nation who`s authorities say this kind of thing is disgusting: -

They acknowledge that such actions were "unpleasant and disrespectful" but reminds us "they only lasted a few seconds" and were "in the context of football rivalry."

So its ok to be racist, as long as its against a rival player, and you do it only for a few seconds.....

Mamardashvili was very good against Madrid

i love how he attacked Vinicius as well

even Rüdiger couldn't stop him

forget Onana, just get this guy

he's only 22, this guy is going to be world class

So it'll be Liverpool a couple of times and Arsenal this season as champions ?

There is always very little desire to "rewrite history" with these things so they'd try to avoid doing that unless there's really no other option. With the volume of charges though, I can see outright expulsion from the Premier League being a likely punishment, possibly with a multi-year ban too. Then you've the prospect of would the EFL let them drop down, given they weren't actually relegated?

Requires them to be found guilty though. They've a whole lot of lawyers all trying every delay tactic and loophole they can.

Don't see City getting more than a fine.

Would have been great had Leicester won tonight. Cannot see Everton going down now.

Everton should have gone down in1994 when the Don's keeper was bribed in the final game of the season against them.

I've wanted them to go down for decades but the f**kers keep avoiding it.

They'll likely get a point deduction the season they are found guilty I reckon. And I do believe they'll be found guilty.

As Carragher said, if found guilty, all their nostalgic moments (AGUERROOO, 3 peat, treble, etc) will be dampened and an * on their achievements.

Brighton v Citeh. What a wonderful first half of football that was. And what a goal from Enciso.

Mitoma has given Walker loads more problems than Vinicius Jr. did last week.
