Hazard’s contract has been terminated by Madrid, sad seeing how his career turned out. Seems he has just lost his love for the game and was just happy sitting on the bench & picking up his fat wages.

Will be interesting to see if he retires or goes the Middle East/US route. Now watch some fans start a campaign to bring him back “home” 🤦‍♂️

I don't think United fans have softened, they are by far the worst fans that I come across when it comes to being obnoxious and entitled. You read a single piece of Chelsea news, and United fans are all over it, same for City, Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal news. The only time they go quiet is when their team losses. They also love to shout about how their players are the best around, then they get humbled and suddenly their players are the worst.

And on a Chelsea fan site we are going on about Man Utd and their fans., Ignore the f**kers , they ain't worth our attention.

Had Mount posed in a Reds shirt yet ?

Bit harsh. He had numerous injuries, and a metal plate inserted after ankle fractures which caused infections, but he did underperform when he could play and put on weight..

He'll be out first summer signing no doubt.

Man City winning the treble is game over for the rest of us.

Specially for Man United as they are the only team from the PL that has accomplished that feat, now their rivals will simply say that Håland is twice as better than Yorke ever was and that Pep is clearly better than SAF.

Yeah saw that. Think given the way that Hazard trains and looks after himself, it was always going to be a short career. What was it that one of the players said? “5 mins before training, Eden is playing Mario kart with his laces undone”.

Shame, he had the talent to be up there with Messi and Ronaldo. Just didn’t have the drive.

His drive wasn’t the same as theirs no but he was still too drawer, which is why Madrid paid so much despite him having just one year left on his contract. (Was best player at 2018 World Cup, followed by arguably his best season for chelsea in 2018-19).

the real reason for the extent of his decline is injuries, something Mourinho predicted would happen during his second spell as chelsea coach due to lack of protection from refs and terrible tactics from opponents.

United offered very little in the game, apart from getting a freak of a penalty to stay in the game. I don't think City really got out of the third gear in the game. City's dominance will continue in years to go, although they wont match Bayern's 11 in a row ( and still going).

A poor F.A. Cup Final yesterday at Wembley. ‘Scrappy’ if I’m being diplomatic.Nothing better than that.

Man City never looked at any time in top gear.

How that was a given as penalty for the Man Utd equaliser I’ll never know.

Man Utd huffed and puffed, yet could have equalised right at the end through McTominay.

Everton have allegedly offered £27m for Tammy Abraham as Dyche is unhappy with Calvert-Lewin's availability.

He'd be a fool to move to them. 3 European cup finals in a row just to end up at Everton who struggled to avoid relegation these past two years? It would be a massive step backwards.

And that’s not even mentioning the fact he’d be switching from the eternal city of Rome for… Merseyside. 😅

I wonder if Postacoglou is really wanted by Spurs. Winning the treble (congratulations by the way) anywhere is a great achievement, and I could see that being enough for Tottenham to offer him the gig. Hes come a long way from his South Melbourne days.

Some Celtic supporters I know up here in the West Of Scotland seem to think it’s a ‘Done Deal.’

Although I’m still sceptical at the moment.

Postacoglou has done a very good job in a short space of time.

I've been a close observer of Ange over the years, having followed him through his playing and coaching career being a local Melburnian. Amazing how far he's progressed over the years, so there's a sense of pride seeing an Australian do well at this level.

Sad he's decided that he wants to go to Spurs where coaches careers end up being tarnished. He can do better than this.

They were right, it was a done deal.

Can see this CL final being one of the most non-competitive CL finals in a while. Probably as boring and one-sided as Tottenham v Liverpool was but with more goals for the winner.

I agree. I think City will be 2 up early on and that'll be game over well inside 30 minutes. No amount of feigning injury or pestering the referee or any other Italian club tactics will make up for a chasm in quality.

They would be correct

Agree re the strikers, but not sure the manager comparison is as clear cut.

Pep was outclassing Fergie when Fergie was still a manager, what he's done since he's retired has solidified my opinion. The league is 10x more competitive now and Pep still makes it look like a walk in the park.

I could have won the treble with this City team. I'm no fan of Fergie, but I'd like to see Pep do an Aberdeen.

I see Liverpool have signed mac Allister from Brighton for less than we paid for Cucarella. I just hope he proves even worse than Cucarella, but I doubt it is possible.
