According to this spanish source we offered 14 mio Euros for PEA and Barca wants 20 mio Euros.

If this is correct, I think there will be a deal until the end of the week.

And Aubameyang will be a Chelsea player.

Los blues and their choices of strikers... I dunno 😫

I know...but when you had this guy:

All else looks sh*t in comparison  😉

I'll have an insane fiery sh*thousing Spano-Brazilian over a polite German any day of the week.

Which polite German do you mean Val? Werner? Havertz?

Better Ronaldo than this guy. If we can convince Ronnie to slash his salary by half, he would be perfect for us.

Nah, he made both Juventus and united worse teams. He's as toxic as they come. I think tuchel can see that and that's why we've not been linked with him since the story broke

Romano's latest he has bigger numbers than other reports probably coming from a barca mouthpiece:

"Chelsea have scheduled new round of talks with Pierre Aubameyang’s camp this week. Todd Boehly wants to understand conditions of the deal also on personal terms, then it will be time to submit bid to Barcelona"

feels like there is still interest from both sides. must say I prefer Auba to gordon. Gordon is the only bid I completely don't get. Auba is old, past his best, but probably not much past, still has speed and an eye for goal. He is one for this season and probably next. And much as I care about how we go next year what I really want is for us to be exciting and successful right now.

There's probably forwards in the Championship or lower leagues that could bag us a few goals for pittance (in our terms) rather than an aged forward or two that would cost 3 or 4 times as much let alone the salary...do we ever bother to look beyond so called elite teams. Makes we wonder what our scouts actually do.

Manchester United have joined the race for Aubameyang, but Chelsea are still pushing, as per @gerardromero.

Xavi wants to keep the forward, who is yet to speak about the possibility of moving back to the Premier League.

Romano appears to be talking to the auba team

"No negotiations between Pierre Aubameyang and Man United as things stand. It was ruled out days ago, Pierre is focused on Chelsea bid as he wants UCL football. New direct contacts on Thursday to discuss personal terms conditions"

They need his big wages off the roster though, the end of this window is going to be pretty bloody extraordinary for us.....

Poor Robert Huth…

Ah one of my greatest disappointments from our club there Munk.

I really thought a long term pairing of JT and Huth could be one of our greatest ever. The physical presence, the power, the leadership, those bone crunching tackles.

Sadly Robert just did not progress to the levels JT did. If only, especially with those free kick blasts of his.

Prediction or spoiler...tune in for the next two weeks to find out 😉

Hey Oz do you want this deal to happen?

Yes. I think it would provide the team with what it needs. He won't play every game I guess but could fit into Tuchel's style from day 1, far more mobile than Lukaku of course. Broja is too uncertain as the backup striker and Havertz doesn't have the goals to base a title tilt on. Auba is only a stop gap but you have to win the battles to win the war.

We are reported to have bid €27m for Aubameyang today. Seriously what is wrong with us.

If true serious backing from the Todd and great business by Barca getting that from a free player 6 month ago.

Fair points. I am concerned about his cost, ego, and most of all his reliance on pace, which can go at any time, even for youngsters like CHO.
