Gordon latest

Chelsea will be able to acquire the services of Anthony Gordon, if they offer Armando Broja as a makeweight in the deal. That's according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, told wettfreunde: "There is still a gap between what Everton is asking and what Chelsea offers."Everton would love to include some players in the deal such as Armando Broja.

"Thomas Tuchel is a big fan of Armando, so I am not sure that he is going to be a part of any negotiation, so at the moment it is complicated."

This would be a joke if we trade in our last striker for Gordon.

The latest is, and has been for a week, that there is no deal, it is dead in the water as Everton try to squeeze blood from a stone having already been made an offer so good the majority of their own fans wanted them to take it.

It's ok, we'll get him for way cheaper when they get relegated or very close to relegation this season. Lamps is a good manager but he doesn't create miracles and that Everton team needs a miracle to push out of bottom places

Dodged a bullet on this one.

Had a stinker today and should have been sent off, hasn’t looked anywhere near a wonder kid since the links and even before that his work rate over output has been deceptive.

To be fair to Newcastle they understandably want an analogue to Saint-Maximin. Gordon is also a winger, also wears the same number shirt, was also born in Europe, and is also a member of Homo Sapiens Sapiens.

Fantastic comedy from Anthony yesterday .

Ball hits his standing foot followed by hilarious air shot.

Would have at least brought some laughter if he played for us.

But not as funny as Werner uprooting the corner flag while attempting a corner kick
