At this point surely it's more about Boehly's reluctance to admit he made a mistake rather than anything else.

All that's left is for this clownshow to get embarrassed against Madrid and we can wrap up this disaster of a season.

He'd be gone by the end of next week if Stamford Bridge is half empty or worse vs Liverpool.

I hope everyone who wants him gone now don't effectively contribute to his wages on Tuesday.

2 defeats? It should be now ffs 😂

They will give him longer because of the money invested.

This is why I think Beohly and Clearlake will be gone in a couple of years they have under estimated what it takes to keep a team at or near the top.

Doesn't help that Roman was just letting things tick over before Ukraine got serious either.

Only world class managers know how to get the best out of world class players. We're all wasting time with Potter, including the players.

Was joking with my mate during the match that Potter doesn't deserve a 100% fully fit Kante this final stretch of matches.

Not sure that would be the case. The tickets have already been sold for Liverpool. Empty seats would be an ugly look but still nothing compared to the compensation that would have to be paid out to sack Potter before the end of the season.

Put anyone remotely competent in charge and this squad gets top 4 easily.

If Clearlake are gone in that time it will be at a massive loss. No way they would get the price they paid for the club at this point.

I'm sure I read they cant sell for 10 years.

They are tied to a 10 year deal as well so not sure why this notion they will just up and leave continues to come about.

I suspect he will gone at one of 2 points. Either at the end of the season, or once we are out of the Champions League. The owners likely have a performance clause built into the contract that will allow them to let him go with much less pay out. There is of course a chance they take a gamble on a new manager winning the Champions League. It would cost them a much bigger payout, but the gamble would be on the money achieved by finding a way into next year's Champions League.

From a Brighton fan.

The man doesn’t like strikers. When Potter was at Brighton everyone said all we needed was a striker, but just before he left he’d sold Maupay leaving us with Welbeck and Undav, Ferguson wasn’t in the picture. Potter was linked to Spurs but he wasn’t interested, you can’t manage Spurs and not play Kane so that was a no go. Chelsea have gone berserk in the market but didn’t buy a bonafide starting striker. He loves flooding the pitch with attacking midfielders who can dominate possession and create chances. Just a theory like.

I've got a bet on him being the next manager to leave so hopefully not 😂

Unless the owners decide to take a gamble, I reckon your bet is not that likely to come in. I reckon Rodgers, or maybe Moyes if West Ham lose tomorrow.

I made the same bet in January and February and lost twice 😂, though I think the writing is on the wall this time

Emery won more points than Potter, despite having a lot less time being in charge at Villa.

30+ points behind the 1st team, we have by all measures gone 5 steps backwards.

Emery didn't need 600m either

Being blunt, at nearly any club in the league he'd be a dead man walking by now and that's even if the level of investment hadn't been at the scale ours has.

I was for backing him but I'm struggling to see the value in that now. The fans have turned and too many players don't remotely look capable of putting in a shift. Once that happens it's really just a matter of time and I see little point delaying what appears inevitable.

The squad is all over the place and a new manager needs as much time as possible to work out who stays, who goes, who to target and who plays. I'd much rather see someone in now than someone coming in in June with just a preseason to make changes.
