Moises Caicedo to Chelsea! "Official"

Thick move if there ever was one. Taking your best goal scorer and loaning him to a club that wouldn't be able to afford him.

Are there Chelsea fans who genuinely think you wouldn't have scored more goals with Lukaku last season?

Lukaku has a career long record of collapsing when the going gets tough, the idea he'd have been any help in a season the going was tough almost every week is wishful thinking at best.

Auba has been objectively better than him throughout his career yet couldn't do sh*t, what on earth makes you think Lukaku would have fared better in the same situation?

Anyone else completely disillusioned by these theatrics? I couldn't care less about whether we sign Caicedo after this debacle.

There's nothing more ruinous for football than the sport being transformed into a petty pissing contest for American billionaires, while people addicted to drama slavishly refresh their social media feeds for the next trickle of carefully-crafted gossip.

No i love it, nothing rocks the boat like a transfer window.

I don’t think these are theatrics .. this has been pretty much the norm since ages.. from Gaza refusing Utd and the way Fergie signed CR or we signed Mikel .. heck we were recipients with Rafinha and Kounde.. just with digital media we don’t hear the end of it…

I've been having fun eating snacks and reading posts on RAWK.

The Pool Forum ive checked still has them holding on to a belief they can still get him, they are hoping the longer this goes on the more chance Moises might change his mind.

Not just the forum their YouTubers are crazy.. I expect them to be thick but I think they are just delusional.. this Hussain and Craig guys are hilarious.. going after Fabrizio for some reason..

Please don’t parade him before or during HT. it’s just asking for trouble.

If the signing goes through I would hope that they would have the sense not to do this. Would put the player in a really awkward position and add pressure.

Oh. I'm used to that when a player wants away, we send them to you and get the GDP of a small African country in return, whereas Lukaku was sent on one year holiday in Italy instead.

The smallest gdp in Africa is half a billion so that’s not true

Think of it this way, all the drama is part of what keeps bringing new fans, new investments, etc to the sport. There's almost never a dull moment in the PL. Whether the season is on or not. You don't have to like it but more money coming into the league = bigger tv deals, etc = more money for Chelsea.
