Was reading how  a local Newspaper was suggesting that Pool should do to Caicedo what they did to Torres with Agger elbowing him.

you tools with Var you will get a red card for that stunt.. but shows the crass mentality of that lot and this is a fanzine not a random guy on social media.

Another one was saying how Chelsea instead of paying 80 m and by paying 115 are paying double (??!?) and this lot that are trying to be accounting experts.. joke fan base.

Was a strange game let me tell you... it was obvious five minutes into the game that Luton - currently at least - are a midtable Championship team. Our midfield looked miles from last season and gave the ball away frequently and sometimes provided limited options for our defenders, but there was just no way Luton could punish it. They had some fantastic counter-attack opportunities and got the ball up quickly but there was zero end product in terms of passing and finishing. Their right back was good but other than that their defense looked very wonky and end result could have been 8-2 or something.

Most shrugable 4-1 win... feeling afterwards was just "ok, but how would we do against a PL team?"

I'm confident your boys could score two goals against this lot. Says it all really.

I maintain this is a stupid amount of money and risk because if it doesn’t work out it’s another Lukaku situation, massive fee and it’s not going to plan.

To be fair, Caicedo at first said Man U was his favourite club, wanted to go to Arsenal in January, then Chelsea, and Liverpool when they placed the higher bid. He was on his way there to do his medical. Chelsea offered his agent more money and the agent asked him to do a U-turn. Its all about money for him, nothing more. Which is okay but I can bet if Liverpool had offered he and his agent more money he would have gone there. To the player, he just wants to move on to Brighton and earn more money. Nothing more!

Wrap this up this weekend one way or the other, I want talk about actual football instead of bunch of billionaire throwing money around. If we present Caicedo at HT but ended up getting thrashed at the Bridge, I doubt there will be much optimism after the game.

Roll on September 3rd,having the window still open after our domestic season has already started is beyond ridiculous. 

The only DM in the world who I would pay £115 million for is Rodri.

Caicedo might be a great player, Lavia might be a great player but they ain't as good as Rodri.

They still to this day haven't got over Sterling leaving for a more ambitious project.

No matter how this ends up, this deal is way too expensive before the ball is being kicked. He goes to Lpool or he comes to Chelsea the money is absurd. 

We need him or someone with his skills so we were never going to get out of this problem cheap. 

This Lavia/Caicedo bidding war thing is only going to help Soton and Brighton.
