Moises Caicedo to Chelsea! "Official"

They're nothing to a large percentage of football fans. The Brighton fan base is tiny, therefore Brighton only means anything to a tiny tiny percentage of football fans. Name one thing that matters more than trophies in a game that is solely about being the best and winning trophies? Participation gets you nothing. Lame excuse that is used by tiny teams that win nothing.

I go every week to watch Lunds FF in the Swedish 6th tier. I do it because football is a very entertaining sport and because I like to hang out with the other 20 people who come there each week each year. Same reason why a couple of 100k people go and watch non-league football in England each week.

Like I said, loving football and loving the football community is the reason for us - not for all. For some people football, like people supporting the big six or Real/Barca, it is only about titles and glory. Not saying there is anything wrong with that, but you are dead wrong if you think people supporting smalling teams would rather be like you.

Just walk away, spend the money on Levia and Kundus. Last thing I want to hear is Boehly and his team crawl back to Brighton, and get ransomed again. We aren't going to win every bidding war, just move on, enough time and attention wasted. Unless Caicedo is some lifelong Chelsea fan, knock back Liverpool's offer, then we will talk again.

Yes, it is small club mentality. Chelsea is a much bigger club.

But contrary to what supporters of United/City/Chelsea/Liverpool/Spurs/Arsenal believe, supporting the underdog - in football and in life - is actually not all that bad.
People are different. "Bigger", "richer" and "more famous" is not all that important to everyone. Backstreet Boys got a lot of fans, Coca Cola a lot of consumers, Chelsea a lot of people watching. But would I switch any of the for my local indie band, my local brewery or my not-so-local favorite club? Nope.

So the thing is we are not trying to dish it out to you.. we have had people from other clubs on here who have held healthy discussions with us and gave us insights into players we have held interest in or they are trying to loan and buy.. this approach of coming in and mock a club on their forum will invite responses and unless thats what you want.

i agree .. id much rather buy goals with that money and trust colwill and silva and james at the back. Heck RM won the UCL with literally zero DMs on the basis of their attack.

To be fair he hasen't dished anything out, a few have mocked his club for conducting business properly. So he rightly has a pop back at the people throwing their toys out of the pram.

They had Casemiro and an unbelievable amount of luck. Last minute goals in literally evey game can't be the template to rely on for any club.

And while all this is happening, Sky is reporting that Caicedo is having second thoughts about joining Liverpool.

As you were.

Don't you know scousers are the most historical club in the universe and caicedo was a huge fan since he was 2 days old. It was his dream to play for them even before he learned how to take a sh*t.

Somebody ban this troll.

Come back at us when you win a pot to piss in.

You and I both know you'll be relegated within ten years.

And yet.....

We keep on sniffing around their club hoping to buy success for ourselves.

Actually, whoever he is, he's funny and without any nastiness or ridiculous anger and spite.

Put him in the first team now !

Understand Tyler Adams move to Chelsea isn’t complete YET. #CFC

There could be a possibility he may end up at Brighton 🔵 #BHAFC

IF Chelsea manage to sign Caicedo 📝

Lots going on!

Never known anything like this 🤯 @secretscout

The Player and his representatives remain in London📍

Klopp did not look very happy when he described that the clubs had reached an agreement.

I don't think you can rule out Caicedo just yet. My guess is that Chelsea would pay him better than Liverpool would.

Obviously you would have to raise your bid to make it happen. And you'll have to do it pretty much now, not next week or the week after. If you're going to f**k around the rest of the window about the £10m extra that Liverpool put in, Tony will have none of it and keep the player another year.

Moises Caicedo has not yet agreed personal terms with Liverpool, which appears to be the reason he has not yet signed on the bottom line, and it is well known that he wants to join #Chelsea.

To be fair he is gently mocking his own team and us too for our impression that because we are a bigger club Brighton should sell for whatever WE decide to pay !

I don't see any appetite for informed discussion anywhere on here,  it's a fan forum where such things are non existent.

He's the most refreshingly honest and funny contributor on here, reeling all the haters in without anyone none the wiser apparently

And do you not think all of those people are going to watch those clubs in the hope of a trophy? I go watch Ilkeston Town in the 7th tier of English football most weeks and you best believe i'm going hoping they can reach a cup final or win the league. You bst beleive i'd give an arm and a leg to see Ilkeston win a cup. I guarantee you every Brighton would swap the world for an FA cup too.

We need to hold fire fire a bit .

Until we know who he signs for only then we ..

" He's a two faced Scouse loving c**t".   Or...

" Welcome to Chelsea, just what we needed , we f**ked up the Scouse, when can I buy his shirt "

.......Comments

Based on what we know about the current owners, I think we'll match Liverpool's bid. Looks like lots of poker has been played this past week. We are linked with Kudus, Brighton want him, Tyler Adams looks set to sign, now Brighton also want. Liverpool want Lavia, we outbid them for Lavia, they outbid us for Caicedo...

I'm gonna say:

Liverpool: Lavia

Chelsea: Caicedo

Brighton: Tyler Adams

I am responding to the piece around where he saying chelsea is a big club only known for followers and stuff. i dont care about his thoughts on Brighton. But if it is sarcasm that is fine..

We’re not going to outbid that amount. The posts are simple clickbait. He’ll join Liverpool and we must move on to other targets.

Don't actually need to.

If he tells Brighton that he can't reach an agreement with Liverpool, then Brighton would be pretty obligated to accept our 100m offer.
