Its not uncommon for fullbacks to play outside CB in a back three. Quite the opposite actually.

The issue I'm seeing is that we are completely static all over the patch, no-one making any runs to find space, so there is no-one to pass to ...

Jorginiho scoring a goal from open play would be really odd.  

I was about to say that I am bored titless watching this. I counted 30 f**king passes and we still ended up in the same f**king place that we started.   Sterling has done nothing to convince me he should start, but he'll walk into the England team...diabolical.  CC ..how much did we pay for him..laughable.  Kovacic and Gallagher are about the only two trying to move the ball forward.
