What’s with this recent fascination with sticking players in random positions that they’ve got very little to no experience playing? Just put them in their f**king natural position and see how we get on. It’s actually ludicrous that we spent over £60m on a left back (who I don’t even think is better than Chilwell) but he plays CB, about £40m+ on Sterling to play as a wingback. 
 

Maybe I don’t get modern football but from watching us whenever we do this - it doesn’t work.

They are defending quite wide thanks to the positions of Sterling and Pulisic, which is what Potter wanted, but we’ve got no one to attack the spaces through the middle. Playing Havertz is like playing with 10 at the moment.

MN City Liverpool etc would be winning 4 nil by now.. The opposition are really rubbish..
