Great from our front 2 so far eh?

Havertz manages to hit the most delicate header right at thr keeper from 6 yards out, then be offside and block Aubameyang from getting to the ball.

Aubameyang himself finally benefits from some good sterling and havertz play and cannot score right on HT....

Poor.

Sterling and Pulisic are wasted as WB's.

And Auba couldn't score in a brothel.

I don't think either one are playing too terrible, although I think they are playing higher up the pitch than natural WB's.   My concern is more if they don't expose us defensively since neither are natural defensive players.

We play so much better in the Champions League and it's all because we are given so much more space to play. Teams in the Premier League just don't allow you to play this way and we can't cope with it. We don't have a team built to play well in both competitions.

To be fair that’s a great save by the keeper. The first one he should’ve scored though.

But the keeper shouldnt of been given a chance to save it, Auba should be slotting that home 9 out of 10.

Good first half yet the opponents are not PL level.

They are 1st in the Austrian League. Not exactly a bum league. They aren't great, but they aren't sh*t,  especially at home.

Turns out Potter's team selection was not so insane after all. Took a while to get going but we're playing some good stuff. Really need to stop wasting chances though, I don't trust us not to f**k up and concede a daft goal.

You expect a better quality finish from a seasoned striker, not good enough from Auba.

Forced a good save from the keeper to be fair, not sure there's a huge amount more he could have done given the speed at which the ball came to him and the amount of space he had.

A half of two halves there really. Initially the midfield were man-marked and spells of possession weren't really happening; the game was stodgy and attacking moves were truncated. One hilarious fluke from Kovačić opened up the game, and with the extra space the attacking combination of Sterling, Havertz and Kovačić down the left has really thrived, it's been great to watch. We've created a couple of big chances, hope we play some more sexy football and put a few more goals past them.

Sterling is wasted at wing-back though, so is that other guy on the right, I forget his name.

You mean the coach knows what he's doing as opposed to joe blow sitting behind his computer. Lol

Agreed. Although I think the worst miss was the header from Havertz. Looked easier to score.

I don't think they're playing poor either. But they're too deep to contribute much in the final 3rd.
