Victor Osimhen

For me it is, yes. For a club with supposedly top scouts it shouldn't have been is my point.

Jackson for me is a good example of high level scouting, much like Badiashile. His skillset is is great.

Ha,ha. Kravatalphabet the Jack Grealish of The Carpathians has just missed an absolute sitter.

Vlahovich has been total mince for Juve so far. Chiesa still looks class but hasn't seen enough of the ball.

Oh well. Half-time. 0-0. Decisions, decisions. Do I stick with this or go and watch Coventry vs Birmingham?

Vlahovich off. Osimhen off-side. It's all happening.

Is Vlahovich the centre-forward we need? He has the height of Kieffer Moore and the silky skills of Che Adams.

We are ready to do everything it takes to sign him in January as per Football Transfers:

https://www.thechelseachronicle.com/transfer-news/chelsea-ready-to-do-absolutely-everything-to-sign-world-class-player-they-may-even-sell-22-year-old/

In other news here's Pat Nevin about the potential signing:

‘‘I thought Victor Osimhen was the man a few years ago, and I still think he is. Chelsea have cashed in on Mason Mount, Mateo Kovacic, and others before, and they can do it again. It’s just business. It may not be for the fans, but it certainly is for the owners.’’

‘I’d imagine he’s the one Chelsea will go for. A lot of teams would be interested in Mudryk! I’m not saying Chelsea should get rid of him, but Chelsea will have to sell someone if they want to get a striker as good as Osimhen in the door.”

Felt Osimhen did alright for zero service. Shame for that offsides goal. Made that out of nothing.

Came from a huge goal-keeping mistake though he did finish it well. The co-commentator said that Osimhen was finding it hard up against two centre halves who were marking him touch tight and denying him any space. That might be unusual in Serie A but he will get that treatment every week in the EPL. From Bournemouth to Burnley.

Ivan Toney. Bigger, stronger and EPL proven.

Hahaha if you really believe that... Sorry but, hahahaha

He will no doubt be the next 100m+ we spend on an underwhelming signing. The curse of Clearlake awaits. Meanwhile Toney will probably go to Arsenal and end up scoring twice as many goals.

That's just speculation, but reality is that Osimhen is an active player that isn't taking any 8 month break due to mental issues. This alone makes Toney a much higher risk of being underwhelming, specially since Todd would offering him huge wages and a 6 year contract so Toney could just sit down and join the injured player's list.

Can't see him or Toney coming to a bottom half of the table team with no chance of European football next season. Why would they take a step backwards.

We are now back to being the Chelsea of the mid eighties.

I would love to be proved wrong ......

Yes. I'd be surprised too.

I have seen quite a bit of Osimhen in Serie A over the past two seasons, and I do like him. He has good work rate and aggression. But I really think, after so many foreign league failures, from Morata to Werner, from Higuain to Jackson, we absolutely have to go with someone who has EPL experience, have proved they can hack it and deliver goals.

The only option is Ivan Toney.
