If his release clause is 110m plus then we should be going for Alvarez at City.

He's proven in the league and is getting better and better.

Haaland being the main man there might tempt him.

If Haaland's plan is to bugger off to Real Madrid in a couple of years, then City will almost certainly want to hang on to Julian Alvarez.

Of course but will Alvarez want to hang around?
He’d be the one I’d go for. Poch and Enzo might also tempt him

I think the release clause is rinsing us anyway. Was it 130m euros that I read somewhere?

can be worse I guess

Chelsea signed Ecuador midfielder Moises Caicedo from Brighton on Monday for a reported 115 million pounds ($146 million), which is a record fee for a transfer in British soccer.

That release clause is the reason I hope we don't do this and it's all fake news.

We just need a proven and experienced striker to bed in Jackson and to some extent nkunku. 130 mil is way too much, they would have to sell our homegrown. A lot of them. 😥😭

Rather get toney for 100mil instead. Maybe 80 plus add ons, etc. If they can swing it. But 130mil for Victor is really nuts.

How about forget both of those and add 50mil to our medical staff and facilities. The other 50 can even go on a medical study on why we have so many injured, it would be more productive, imho.

Half of that would be spent just on bubble wrap alone.

Not sure about this guy. Granted I've never seen the c**t play but £130m based on 1 stellar season at Serie A level? Not sure about that at all.

better than 1 stellar season at Brighton

Victor Osimhen is the clubs favourite apparently.

Also considering. . .

Dusan Vlahovic,
Viktor Gyokeres,
Victor Boniface,
Evan Ferguson.

If thems the options then Victor it is then

I'd still take Vlahovic as an option, he's built for the Premier League.

Injury record is scary, and that Serie A tax can’t be ignored. Your Pulisic, Giroud & RLC look like very good players in that league.

Yep. Missed 3 months last season and already a stint out this season. There's no doubt he can score a goal when fit but doesn't bring much else to a team. Doesn't press, not much interested in defence.

Giroud was, and remains, a very good player. Moving him on was one of our biggest mistakes.

Agreed.

Ivan Toney it is then. EPL proven. Impressive comeback today after 8 months out.

Osimhen has scored 66 goals in 112 serie a games.that has to translate to something in the PL.

No wait sorry that's Lukaku. Osimhen is 57 in 96.

Is it Lukaku? Or Morata? Or Higuain,  or Aubameyang? Or Torres, or Kezman?

Ivan Toney. EPL proven. Bring on the Big Dog.
