£20M + Endryck and it would be a good deal for us.

Hat trick for Endrick 4G/A in 2 games at Lyon.

Our owners need to listen to me. Bring in a world class attacker to join Estevao and bin off the fat hobbit at the same time.

Was it Fichajes that brought us this as well

Feel sorry for Endrick. 25 years ago when the world was obsessed with goalscoring second-strikers like Totti, Del Piero and Bergkamp, or even 15 years ago when the world embraced the 'false 9' with goalscoring wingers, Endrick would be a phenomenon. Most top teams in modern football have no place for him, the last player to excel in that position was Antoine Griezmann and even his prime years were talked about as if they were a museum exhibit.

I think there's probably three managers/clubs that he would suit - Allegri's Milan, Simeone's Atletico and Conte's Napoli - but he would need to improve his attitude and reputation to even get a sniff from those managers.

The most talented generational player Brazil has produced in the last 5 years, whoever signs Endrick right now will be signing the best Brazilian player of this generation, I guarantee you that with complete peace of mind.

This kid makes football look easy.

Xabi Alonso is perhaps the dumbest coach I've seen in recent times, preferring the awful Gonzalo over Endrick; he knew absolutely nothing about what he was doing.

I came here to praise Enzo. He gets a lot of abuse, but playing an advanced midfield role is a good option. Taken some nice pens also.

I’ll leave though saying let’s sign Endrick if only to watch Estevao and Endrick warm up!!!

I’m going to respectfully disagree with my Vasco friend here (I'm a Gremio supporter, though they’re so poor lately I can hardly watch).

Endrick is clearly a top player and an elite prospect, but I can’t shake the feeling he’s a notch below Estevão. It’s not a lack of skill—he has that plenty—it’s the physical profile. I was lucky enough to see Romário in his prime; even if I didn't fully appreciate his game then, he was a genius despite being short and stocky. I just don’t see that same 'genius' spark in Endrick.

Estevão feels like the more complete package: the height, the frame, the technical IQ... he has it all. On a side note—since this forum loves my takes on the personal life of footballers 😅—I also get the impression Estevão is more dialed-in. Endrick’s off-pitch choices make me wonder if the focus is quite there. Take it or leave it, just my two cents.

Regarding the role itself, I’m actually pretty flexible on the style of a second striker or CF. Personally, I’d much rather have a player who makes the team tick and pops up with crucial goals in big games, rather than a pure goal machine who requires the entire team to revolve around him.

Would I personally go for Endrick? That goes into those 'intangibles' fans hate talking about, and since I don't have the inside info needed to make a call like that... I have no f**king clue. 😄

Enzo in a 3 works, imo.

He has been playing a fair bit better than Caicedo has recently as well.

one could argue--I have--that Enzo is not savvy enough in front of the goal, but I don't disagree he's been doing well. Careful there, folks here don't like any critique on Caicedo. 😃

Honestly, I feel Enzo is rounded enough to work in several different systems. We have so many glaring gaping holes in the squad that it is just silly to be talking about him IMO.

My issue with Fernandez has always been the fact he is over-played. He isn't that good that he should be playing just about every minute of every game.

He does some good things and I also like his passion and how he stands up to opponents. Last night, on the whole, he played okay. But he is always looking for the foul against him and too often goes down and the ref rightly sees not enough in it so plays on and then we're on the back foot with Fernadez still on his arse. If he could cut that out, as well as those annoying little passes where he plays one/twos with a team mate in the middle of the pitch for no apparant reason (to me, to you etc.....), then I would be happier.

As the weeks go by and Palmer slowly gets back fit and Estevao imposes himself in the starting line-up, I would surely have Enzo play with them as the three behind the striker with all interchanging between them. Seems like the best choice looking at how underwhelming Neto, Garnacho and Gittens are. I think Enzo as a hybrid left winger/no. 10 is better on that side than all of them and brings much more to the team. Hopefully we can have Lavia back, too. At least by March when things heat up.

5 open play goals, 5 pens, 3 assists in 34 matches.

Scored every pen he's taken this season, good on him, so I'm not gonna use the penalties as a stick to beat him.

If he ends up on 15 goals and 6 assists this season, you've got to say those are good numbers for a midfielder.

I think this forum is probably the fiercest critic of Enzo.

Other clubs would have him.

Fans of other clubs seem to rate him.

The match attending Chelsea fans I’ve spoken to are less critical too both home and away.

I’m not saying he’s the dogs bo**ocks, far from it but he definitely gets a tougher time here than he does elsewhere.

Because despite the goals and assists this season, he is incredibly erratic and has glaring weaknesses in English football. I have no doubt that in Spain, or any warmer climate, he would be very good, because the conditions make it easier for him. In a warmer climate, players can't play at full intensity for 90+ minutes, which suits Enzo's game really well. We saw it with the CWC. When a game goes through a period where the players need to conserve energy, Enzo can exploit it, but that just doesn't happen in England and he finds himself constantly trying to force himself to make things happen which leads to a lot of mistakes.

It's similar with Casemiro at United. He's older so it's not the best example, but he also struggles with the intensity of English football in similar ways and probably would have been able to prolong his career as a top player had he gone somewhere like Italy instead.
