June 26, 20233 yr I think the problem with Mudryk is mostly his transfer fee. He might turn out to be very good but paying 100 million was madness. Even 50 million would have been too much IMO.
June 26, 20233 yr I thought the fee was 62ish rising to 90M with add ons. Doesn’t look like we’ve hit a single performance add on yet!

You've pulled a clip that probably only Messi, Hazard and Neymar could recreate. Going to be a long few years if you're expecting any of our players to do that any time soon! I agree with you that comparing him to Messi is unfair but I want to see him doing something that is translateable to PL. I see nothing in that video other than N Macedonia is not very good.

His pace absolutely is translatable to the Premier league, i can't think of many defenders other than Walker who would be able to deal with it.
July 2, 20233 yr Currently killing the France u21 squad at half time, provoked a penalty and made a great pass from the center of the pitch wich resulted in a goal. 2-1 Ukraine !
July 2, 20233 yr Author Putting in an a very good performance against France u21s so far. Single-handedly won the penalty for Ukraine's equaliser, then played a great long-range through ball to set up the goal that put Ukraine 2-1 ahead. The game is available on Uefa.tv for anyone that wants to watch the official UEFA stream.
July 2, 20233 yr Currently ripping a new one to France at the U21 Euros. What an assist for Ukraine's second, Tom Brady would be proud. Got fouled by Kalulu as well for Ukraine's penalty. This guy's ceiling is so high that in the right environment and under the right coaching staff he could become a superstar.

Outstanding effort. Had another Hollywood pass late in the game, too. From one side to another, perfectly weighted, put it on the plate for their third, but the Ukrainian player missed a big chance. I truly feel Mudryk can have the same impact as Salah in the Premier League as they posses the same attributes. Salah looked raw at 22 and to be fair his ceiling did not look that high at that moment compared to Mudryk in this point of time. At least it's what I think. Salah needed game time and later on a top manager (Klopp) to unlock his potential and turn him into a world beater. Prime Salah was scary good and hopefully Pochettino will turn Mudryk into a top player, too. I truly wish the whole coaching staff will not play the safe card and are not that stupid to think Sterling should be playing on the left wing because of his experience.
July 3, 20233 yr Some fans wrote this guy off too early from his cameo against Liverpool I knew we have something special here. He just had two rubbish coaches in Potter and Lampard, Pochettino tuned Son into a player that would walk into any Top at his prime same with Kane so we will see how he develops under Pochettino but I am bloody excited seeing him next season.

I especially like that he plays with a permanent scowl on his face. He's serious.

July 3, 20233 yr I would expect Sterling to start more games in the first half of the season due to experience, with Mudryk coming off the bench/rotating, and then hopefully as the season progresses and Pochettino has more time to work with him we see him blossom into a starter. It's much easier to blood a player and develop them when the side is already playing well and winning games.

I just watched it back the ball definitely hit Edison had it been in the box Edison saved it!!! Ahd I like Kai thought still had faith in him but he definitely misses easy chances . Edison had to pull his hands away to not get a red in box Kai misses that 1v1 with Edison Edited July 3, 20233 yr by El regreso

I started cacking it , thought he might have been just offside , but all was well ! Werner would have hit the bar and have his follow up shot cleared off the line by an extraordinary effort from a defender. He had no luck at all ! Didn't he have an air shot in that game ?

Strange, as I tend to think of Misha Mudryk as a fast [sometimes headless chicken - but in a good way] like Salah. But that pass showed another dimension to his game. Very encouraging to see. IF he can work it out with Ben that would be great. cucurella is more problematic as a partner on the left, but we shall see what Pochettino can do.

Salah didn't have the vision and technical ability that Mudryk has, but his runs and timing were very good even at 22. Mudryk seems like an attacker you'd want to create in a lab or Fifa - lightning quick, excellent close control, can spot a pass/run and execute with proper weighting. And now needs game time, consistency, and good coaching.
