February 2, 20233 yr Really torn as to whether Enzo should start here. I think we're better served by having him spend another week on the training ground getting to know his teammates. On the other hand, you don't expect a big money signing like that to start on the bench. Especially considering he's match fit. Mudryk should absolutely get a place in the XI. Probably alongisde Mount, Havertz and Gallagher as the rest of the attacking four.
February 2, 20233 yr So we still have Kovacic, Kante and Zakaria out and we just sold Jorginho on the last day of the window. That's some top notch planning.
February 2, 20233 yr This in itself is the root of our midfield issue that has bothered me for well over 2 years. Kante and Kovacic just aren't reliable and need to be squad options next season to mitigate their injury proneness. Zakaria looking like another injury issue so I genuinely hope we don't add to the list next season. Has to be a Hall/Enzo pivot surely?

Enzo might not actually pay due to work permit not being validated in time. Honestly just baffles me. Hate this situation. Edited February 2, 20233 yr by Sconnie Blue

I would be surprised to see Enzo start either way. He will barely know his new team mates and may have had 1 training session with them. Maybe Chuky gets a start?

I like what I have seen when he plays but I doubt we will be keen to sign up another player with constant injury issues.

Regarding Kovacic, how does he manage to play the full 90 for every Croatia WC game yet it becomes an impossibility for him to be fit 2 matches in a row for us? I honestly wouldn't be all too surprised if Kovacic is one of the players we have lined up to leave given how pathetically unreliable he is. Edited February 2, 20233 yr by Sconnie Blue

Won’t be surprised if RLC + one leaves next season, and the other the season after. We are going to be playing 4-2-3-1, and I am not sure you need more than 5-6 players. Enzo, new CM, Gallagher, Chwkuemeka & Santos is 5 CMs, with only 2 starting games and 2 in the match day 18.

February 2, 20233 yr Get all our new guys on the pitch together, the sooner they gel the better. No reason to pay mega money for players, to sit them on the bench if they're available. Not like we have a solid first 11 or in a good run of form, we need to take a risk to pull this season back from the dead.
February 2, 20233 yr Assuming no Enzo, Zakaria, Kante and Kovacic I would go for: Kepa Dave Silva Badiashile Cucrurella Gallagher Chalobah Madueke Mount Mudryk Havertz

February 2, 20233 yr Haven’t been as excited for a Chelsea match for a long long time. Enzo available and match fit; start him. Mudryk Must start. Totally sick of Kova and would get rid in the summer. Good enough player (little end product) but seems to be made of glass when playing for CFC. Roll on 8pm. 4-0

It might be 12-15 years since I last thought we could have an exciting line up. I know we’ve won some trophies in those years but the footy hasn’t been the greatest.

February 3, 20233 yr You know our rivals wait for this match just as much as we do. All these fools that think they know it all on the internet because of Football Manager and YouTube analysis and all the brainless pundits wait for our new signings to make a bad pass to say "See, we've told you, they're sh*te, they'll go bankrupt for signings duds on long contracts." I wish for a flawless performance and an electric show by Mudryk. He is the one I want to take the league by storm and show everybody he's the new boss in town and make all rivals fear him from his very first full 90 mins match in the PL. Let's smash these c**ts. 5-0 to the mighty Blues! 🔥 Edited February 3, 20233 yr by petre ispirescu
February 3, 20233 yr Glad the team's had some time to train, bond, and get over some injuries. But with that being said, it's been a long two weeks with no Chelsea. Can't wait for tonight's game. Hoping for some energy and excitement from a few of the new boys, topped off with a short solid cameo for James and/or Chilwell. KTBFFH
