Mount might be having a crap season but he's surely going to start this one ? I'd think he'd be alongside Felix in the inside roles, with Havertz in front of them.

That works, though Havertz is set to miss at least one clear-cut chance as the man in front of Felix and Mount 😅

Probably be my two picks if I was to choose for tonight. Could see Potter going with these or mixing it up and bringing Azpil into the starting 11 if he's trained well and looks up for it especially in a back 3 system, Ziyech could also start as could Zakaria if he looks fit.

Hope UCL magic is in full effect today and we see KO Chelsea form rather than League. Despite our reservations about GP so far we've performed better in UCL than prem weirdly considering his exp in the latter compared to his lack of experience in the former.

Gallagher is more match-ready than Kovacic. It has happen before that Kovacic has a poor game as soon as he comes in to the starting lineup after injury so I'm not sold on him being a starter automatically here.

Is RLC not in the CL squad.  If he were I would expect him to play again on his last showing

Expected since James and Chilwell are ready to start and RLC is more used to play deeper than Gallagher and honestly Ziyech as the RW is also a default.

Often the leaks are not right too. I remember one recently sconnie leaked out that had one selection wrong.

 

I genuinely don't know what to expect. Player for player we are miles better but the situation we're in doesn't leave much room for optimism. But I'd still say we are slight favorites, even away from home, mostly because of experience if nothing. And experience is often the key in these big European games.

That being said, I'd still be content with a draw tonight. 

The thing that scares me the most : hypothetically we need to chase a goal, who does Potter sub on?

£800m spent since we won the CL 18 months ago and we're starting Ziyech, RLC, Havertz up front, Kepa and Koulibaly in a champions league knockout tie.

What an awful 18 months it's been for us.

Hopefully today is a glimmer of light.

Formation-wise I'll suggest a 1-4-2-3-1. 
we've got a few keepers on the payroll, let's use at least one tanite.

Aye but you forgot that, while yes our 800mill still leaves those players starting, we also now have one of the best coaches in the world now too. So that makes up for it 

So smile and walk in the Potter wonderland 🙂

Other than RLC that team pretty much picked itself. There is no fit available alternative to ziyech as a wide right player. Well maybe Mount but he generally plays on the left and will likely  replace Mudryk 
 

we will be much better attacking down the left but have to watch the defence.
