Lots of negative comments on here.

I thought we have been ok. Decent start-looked really lively. Lots of last gasp blocking from everton. dominating the play. Dominating the chances.

Could do with more shots on target -  it only 1 team looking dangerous

All true, but if we are physically not capable of getting a shot on target let alone trying to beat Pickford, it all amounts to nothing and we only need make one mistake and we can be sunk again.

Clearly Potter is getting these players to gel now and the football is improving but hevhas never, in his career, had free scoring teams. It's frustrating. Instead of getting PR rubbish mind coaches to shout at them, or whatever they bloke did, Potter should have invested in a proper attacking coach. He should have taken JFH on instead if England doing it.

Play and the end there. So symptomatic. Havertz should 100% arrive earlier to just slot that one in. This is typically of him when he’s on one of his many off days. Not smelling the danger, or maybe it’s an instinct thing.

If I’m Potter I’d pull Pulisic off for either Gallagher or Mudryk. Felix can get 15 mins to show some end product before hauling him to. Havertz seem like the least worst finisher so I’d keep him on.

We need to get Reece more involved and that will require a change in formation. Right now we have Havertz drawing inside, Felix as a striker. Someone have to create overlap opportunities on the right side. And even if it’s still 0-0 Kante would severely help in us sustaining pressure and forcing mistakes high up the pitch. Hopefully he gets introduced second half.

Same as Andy Townsend...Craig Burley to name but two of the many anti-CFC pundits

Burley is awful, he slags us off when we win trophies, I've never heard him say a good word about us. We lack pundits as is, and the ones that we do have seem to hate the club.

Spot on. I thought I must be watching a different game Jim. We have produced some beautiful inter-play at times. We just need the goal our football has deserved. The only slight, and it is slight, downside for me is Kova. Feel he could be much more direct and faster in moving the ball at times.

I'd agree about the interchange and we certainly deserve a goal but it's impossible to ignore how incapable we often look at getting one. Sometimes you just want us to put our laces through it instead of trying to place it in or pass it through an invisible hole.

The worrying part about Potter is that the few moments of highs we have had under him so far have been from him mimicking the best of Tuchel. Too often though with Potter, we are seeing the worst of Tuchel's tactics. I'm not seeing anything that he has personally bought to the team that has worked yet. His worst habit is chopping and changing again. Mudryk should have started today, Leicester was a good little momentum builder for him. That's been immediately cut short by Potter again.

Some nice fast passing in the opening 20-30 mins, but still no end product. This is looking very much like all the games prior to a week or so ago, and will probably end 0-0

I'm actually enjoying the game just frustrated time and time again at our woefullness in the final third.

I agree that Kova isn't as influential as he has been recently and Pulisic...Well, I'm sorry I just don't see it. But if we could just bloody well score or force Pickford in making some desperate saves. He's had a cigar on the entire half

Which we’ll accept then go and win the f**king champions league. It’s all part of Potter’s master plan.

I agree with most of what's been said - we've been dominant and have had quite a few fun and quality moments in buildup, yet we haven't really had a good shot other than Havertz's header over the bar. Considering the amount of possession it feels like we've had in the box, I would be considering an Aubameyang sub (if he were in the squad). We'll have to go with our standard - wait for one of the wing-backs to pull off something ridiculous.

On the other hand, narratively speaking, we're set up perfectly for Kanté to get the winner off the bench.
