Thomas Tuchel new Bayern Manager

Featured Replies

If he manages to take Havertz, Mount and Mendy off our hands he'd still be inching closer to Jose as my all time favourite Chelsea manager.

That being said, it's a bit sh*t of him to come out and publicly say he wants to get Anthony Barry off us

Better they give him Potr

I doubt he'll take any of our players, at most one. There's always these lazy links when a manager takes over clubs, remember when Mourinho was supposedly going to strip us of pretty much our entire squad when he went to Inter?

If I had to guess, probably either Mount or Havertz, if not both. Their futures at the club are uncertain as it is, so who knows. I hope we keep hold of them.

He can take Pulisic, Havetz, Ziyech for a start.  Good luck to him, except when Bayern face us!  I remember when Mourinho was rumored to ransack us of Frank, JT, Drogba and Carvalho, but the rumours were probably cock and bull stories

We can’t say much. It’s rare when Man City don’t win the PL nowadays.

EPL tenth place just cruised past their top of the league.

Do you think our west London neighbours above us in the league would fair better?

Mihajlovic and Toney are currently better than any of our strikers so yes.

He would have taken Lampard had Lampard's mother not passed unexpectedly that season, and Moratti didn't want Drogba after the Ibrahimovic deal was completed.

A quite damning assessment considering only one of those two players is still alive.

If he had said My new family, it would have been utterly ridiculous after 3 days. Still, it feels good he is positive about Chelsea.

I still miss Drogba, JT, Zola, Dennis Wise, Ruudi G, Jose MK I. I'll always miss Ken Bates because I know without him being there at the lowest point in our history, there might not even be a Chelsea now.

But nothing lasts forever and I really cannot wrap my head around this continual looking backwards. Things change, time moves on, you have to adapt and go forward. It's called life.

Part of life is also remembering with a smile, and melancholia when things don't go all that well. Doesn't mean people don't get on with living life as it is.

Wouldn't disagree Val, but reminiscing on the past and continually dwelling on it are two totally different things.

I don't see anyone continually dwelling on it.
