September 2, 2025Sep 2 After this case I am sure clubs will sign young potential players on maximum number of years. Because why not. Just to comply better with the acronyms. Again one thing our club introduced to everyone else.
September 2, 2025Sep 2 Over hated and over hyped by some. Personally think he did okay for us, helping us get Champions league and wining a couple of trophies with his goals all without pens. On top of that we'll potentially gain a big profit on him. Happy he's found a new club. In the end didn't make the grade no hard feelings.
September 2, 2025Sep 2 I just hope it works out for him and he bags a load of goals - Everyone will be a winner if it does. Good luck Mr Jackson.

In the end didn't make the grade no hard feelings. Its really sad when people say he didnt make the grade when he was the single striker for Chelsea for 2 seasons and helped us win trophies. Yes he wasnt lethal sometimes and made mistakes or missed chances but which striker is perfect? From a not too top team in la liga he came here and had the responsibility of being our main striker. That in itself will add a lot of pressure to anyone. He's young and can only get better from learning from one of the worlds best strikers, HK. Wishing him all the best in Bayern and hopes he stays there and wins lots of trophies. Got too much hate over here!
September 2, 2025Sep 2 I’m so glad he has gone. Sit on the bench at Bayern. At least I won’t have to watch the buffoon anymore
September 2, 2025Sep 2 It wasn't all bad : A couple of assists missing vs the Transfermarkt data but close enough !

Hindsight is a wonderful thing - and honestly, on reflection, I think I can admit…. …..HE IS RUBBISH!

September 2, 2025Sep 2 It’ll be interesting to see next May just how much of a hindrance Jackson was for us as far as him missing chances/brainless actions in the box. We don’t win the game against Fulham that’s for sure.
September 2, 2025Sep 2 Worst player we’ve ever signed, embarrassing to see him in the lineup week in week out. Shows how far we’ve fallen as a club from the likes of Osgood, Drogba & Costa to this absolute Neanderthal for 2 entire seasons!Blessed to see the back of him and this thread.

We are not. There are 100 different strategies and ways to run a club, build a squad. We had one under the previous ownership which worked well in a general sense but I understand this new group trying to do things differently. I think we have a chance to be even better than we were before with this new strategy. The window for challenging on all fronts is not open yet in my eyes but we are close. My worry is they will sell some of our core players when they peak/Real comes knocking. If they don't and we are able to keep them by 1. Doing great on the football pitch 2. Giving them comparable salaries I think we are fine. So far we haven't sold any core players during these years.

Poor guy's confidence was totally shot by the time he left Chelsea. He tried so hard but just couldn't hack it.Werner goals/assists in all comps: 20 goals/9 assists 79 appearancesJackson goals/assists in all comps: 31 goals/12 assists 88 appearancesOf course Jackson didn't pass the eye test but to say he is the worst player we've ever signed is a nonsense. Totally fair to say that he is the signing you have most disliked. Worth noting Alvaro Morata, who I personally disliked more for his whiny attitude scored 19 goals, 6 assists in 2 seasons at Chelsea as well. Now he was a bigger sh*t and cost us nearly £60m 8 years ago. Sorry, rant over.

He did have a tendency to make things personal and call names, which I always advised him to cut out - but he never really did. UBs argument was that there was no difference in being rude or derogatory about a player (who probably doesnt read this forum) or each other…. A couple of the Jackson Cartel are now gone - which is a shame, but understandable. There was 1 more of the cartel who also had a tendency to get overly name cally at times - but he seems to have chilled out a tad recently….which has made things much better.

Without Werner, we don’t score the goal in the champ league final.

You only have to watch the video with 40 of his goals and assists to see that he's been fine for the money paid, and the wages he was earning. A hell of a long way from being the worst player we've ever signed. Pedro looks like an improvement but we'll see. Delap people seem to like, although he's not scoring much LOL

I hope Mod isn't as tolerant in future if you carry on abuse like this on any other threads of players you take an irrational dislike to ... There is certainly no moral high ground to try and position yourself on as far as I'm concerned. Card well and truly marked ...
