Needed step in his recovery. As is a start for Badiashille imo.

Agreed, a valuable opportunity to get Reece further towards match fitness. In addition, we want (at least some) of our best players on the pitch for our sole opportunity for silverware.

Unfortunately I have a comedy zoom thing so I’ll once again have to give it a miss. Shame.

It got moved, I’ve got to go to this sh*tty match now. Somebody organise a tube strike or something please!

I'll need someone to get me unhealthy stuff when match reports come in. You're needed at my place.

You want comedy?  You’re going to the right place.

Remember the game on the way to our first PL title where Robben scored early and the proceeded to boot him, and a lot of our other players, black and blue.

Ah Blackeye Rovers.

For all you in the USA fans, match on ESPN + at 1pm PST

Shirley we should beat this lot ? 🤣

After losing to Brentford the result here is pretty important. I am not saying eyes will be on Pochettino in that special way Chelsea has done year after year but the pressure will mount on everyone.

It won't help Tottenham is on Monday either.

Anyway I am really excited to see us play after missing two matches.

I hope that Pochettino does not rotate much. Next game is on Monday night, so the players will have plenty of recovery time and they need to play with each other so that the team starts gelling. But, we will see rotation for sure.

I'm hoping James gets the nod to start today. It was a missed opportunity not to have James in earlier during the last match

I think that Pochettino has confirmed that James will start tonight.

Chelsea: Sanchez, James (c), Disasi, Badiashile, Cucurella, Gallagher, Ugochukwu, Enzo, Palmer, Jackson, Sterling

Substitutes: Petrovic, Colwill, Gusto, Maatsen, Caicedo, Castledine, Matos, Madueke, Washington

No petrovic? Yikes.
