Hopefully Mod will forgive this being in the general section. Doubt many of us will be about on Christmas day itself so wanted to post this now.

 

From my family to yours may the seasons blessings be upon each and every one of you. I hope you all have a wonderful time in whatever you are doing for the holiday.

    Speaking of which: sibling bonds... My dad died little over a year ago, my mum is struggling with his absence and her own health, this has probably been her last Christmas. So when my sister played an obscure Christmas choral today which my dad always insisted his choir would sing at Christmas mass, us siblings immediately dissolved into tears. None of us needed to explain ourselves, we all just knew and had the same cherished memory. Even now, I'm still weepy, in memory and in anticipation.
