It's actually very simple what we've done. The tempo went up a notch, we started crossing and playing a bit more direct, and Preston players have gotten tired.

He wasn't good in the first half...tried a bit harder this half and scored a good goal. For £300k a week, he needs to be putting in a full shift when he starts, not just when he wants to.

Surely one of these strikers we have can score ? I mean fair play to Broja for netting but it still wasn’t a commanding performance, nor have they been, Jackson the same.

Nobody was good in the first half, at least not from an attacking perspective. But first 20 minutes I thought Sterling was the only one stretching the PNE back line and making runs to try and create space. On the other flank Mudryk was on his phone playing Candy Crush
