Defending, yes. But not offering much going forward. Really slowing the play down at time. Needs to be more positive when he has space ahead of him.

We've been doing it for years now...buy players with speed who want the ball in front of them to run onto and we play the ball behind them, saw it with Torres, Salah, Morata, Werner, Mudryk and anyone else you care to mention. It's sideways, backwards, walking paced football for the most part, easy to play against and with predictable outcomes.  And I'm beginning to wonder with Potch whether or not he's got any balls to lay into this lot ....or will they get a certificate for showing up.
