Funny that seeing as Sky have been pushing Maresca the most on their channels and website.  A news station that reports on rumours is allowed to then take bets on said rumours is madness.

It's amazing that people keep falling for this, absolute mugs.

For 20 seconds until he blames all and sundry others when things aren't working. His M.O. these days. Read up on his days with, most recently, Roma.

When roma sack him they were 5 points off top 4

Now they are still 5 points off top 4 nothing change at all other than some dose of false hope

I just edit my post above to explain why mourinho isn't finished at all

Would be hilarious to see us sign Jose and witness a meeting where Winstanley and Stewart are telling Mou to use the new 18 year old Brazilian wonderboy to up his price instead of the established player and fulfill the directors' needs to gain a foothold for a more holistic club from bottom to top.

Why there isn't? He will immediately command respect from whole dressing room and club structure

People keep saying he is a washed manager

If any the facts is those club he manage was washed instead

United and spurs has spend combined no less than 1.3 billion since they sacked him and like 12 seasons combined , what did they achieved since ? 1 carabao cup

Roma has never won an European trophy in their history, he won it for them along with back to back european finals that i don't think any roma manager can ever do for the next 100 year

Mourinho is still a world class manager

Ancelotti failed at Everton doesn't mean he is a sh*t manager , it's everton whom were sh*t

Same goes with mourinho 3 latest club

C’mon now.

Roma got to the Conference League final twice. The standard of teams in this competition means clubs like Roma should absolutely be going deep ie Semi finals and finals.

They are a similar club to West Ham and the above applies to them also.

Jose is absolutely not what our squad needs at this time. He’d be far to attritional for our young squad.

It's a myth that mourinho doesn't work with young players

We had like an average of 23 years old squad when he won us the league for the first time

Roma hasn't win any European trophy in their history and the last time they won anything was like 15 years ago

If it's so easy to win at Roma why nobody done it before ?

He would have won UEL last season if it wasn't because of some bald English referee playing bias at the final

Back 3 protects a lot of issues, particularly if all 3 CBs cover ground well and defensively strong (sorry Disasi).

Genuinely think all the players we have would strive in Amorim's set up bar the 4 I mentioned.

Does not that mean Badiashile needs to go as well? Him and Disasi are as incompetent as each other.

Badiashile's saving grace is his pace. We saw him in a back 3 under Potter(?) and that is where he arguably had his best moments in a Chelsea shirt.

Honestly we need a DKW section of the forum, maybe a daily video where he rips in to all the various stupidity around the football world.

Sure I would get him more than most but damn it would be entertaining. @Modmake it happen!

Is he that much faster than Disasi?

Wes Fofana is the fastest.

Alas, the only thing he is rushing towards these days  is early retirement.

Personally thought both Disasi and Badi had the turning circle of a tank and the acceleration of a fiat pinto.

Badi was seen as the super rare player when he was at Monaco. Big and strong and also very fast and with a footballing brain . . .A dominant duelist and proactive defender, he broke the Monaco club record for the most touches in a Ligue 1 game [first game in the 2020-21 season].

Because the Conference League didn’t exist.

Problem is the game has moved on from him, Conte & I actually think Tuchel falls into the same category. Read an article earlier this morning in the Independent I think which highlighted a change in the game and a trend to go after young managers with fresh ideas, who will work with the tools they are given and develop them. I think the relatively high success rate when you look at Amorim, Conceicao, Motta, Alonso, Arteta etc means clubs are done with your “super coaches”.

Years ago Kompany had zero chance of managing Bayern this early in his career without years of experience and success, but even relegation at Burnley hasn’t stopped a top club from going after him. Gets crazier when you consider Conte was desperate for the role and sent Bayern a list of his transfer targets & how he intended to setup. If I was betting man I would say McKenna will end up at Utd, and we will follow the trend and gamble on an unknown. Your Mourinho’s & Conte’s might be done at the top level

From what is available I would be okay with Amorim and possibly even Xavi. Anyone else appears to be a major gamble. Even with the Brighton love in, you can tell that RDZ is a hot head and could be just as high maintenance as a Conte if things are not working right. It's alright at Brighton if it's not working cos you're under the radar. At Chelsea when it starts kicking off I can see RDZ being a bit of a prat.
