Reece James being the best RB on the planet hasn't been true for over 2 years. We don't even know if he can ever run like that again.

Dembele and Barca themselves have been on record stating he had poor training ethic at the club, which led to the countless number of injuries he's suffered.

Caicedo and Enzo have been ineffective and outbattled every time against Liverpool and Arsenal, so to make a claim they are better than players in a midfield that literally ran circles around Liverpool and Arsenal in a European tie, is a stretch. Our players couldn't be arsed to show up against Liverpool's kids a year ago.

Hakimi will likely be in the UEFA team of the season and I sincerly doubt Enrique will choose Enzo over Ruiz when the latter is has been vital for him as well as for Spain's Euro win last summer.

If you can't see the difference between today and last season then maybe watching football isn't for you

Because PSG aren't camped in a low block like 90% of the teams we face.

I’m just sick to death of people bringing down what the boys have done this season. I respect the reply but if someone is being disrespectful then I’m going to reply no?

What is wrong with Chelsea fans in here, we’ve just won a trophy but u guys still hate on maresca. The guys done his job by winning the competition he has inherited and got ucl. Managers styles aren’t always implemented straight away so u need to give him time. This fan base is so reactionary and I feel for maresca because of this. I’ll admit the football hasn’t been the best thing I’ve ever watched but we have had a good season, I hope fans still give him time. UTC 💙💙

I love when I’m proved right, up the chels and maresca is a legend!!!!

Set up like that next season, play like that next season and opinions of Maresca will quickly change.

It probably won't work in the Premier League, we've already seen that. It's a different climate and more intense. Hopefully he's learned a few lessons though and can mix it up a bit.

Said it a few days ago, this is probably the only conditions where I can respect Maresca ball. Playing a high tempo Premier League game will just burn us out. We'll need another plan for the Premier League, but today, in this competition, it's the smart way to play.

There's no such thing as Maresca ball.

It's quite simple. We were completely sh*t defensively and so things changed up. All our energies on fixing that. It meant the football was sh*t to watch. But they played with a structure.

The last 19 games of last season we conceded 12.

The 19 before that it was 26.

The last few games of the season and in this tournament we've had the attack improve and the football has looked great.

Neither Pep or him wants to see boring football. They just want to eliminate sh*t football.

Let's see how he does next year. We've got a much stronger squad going forward, confidence and experience. I'm confident.

This is a really good observation. To the eye, we’ve really reduced the silly errors leading to goals. Beyond that, the defense works as a unit, and regardless of the player its system defending. They move as a line better than they have for years, and much better management of the space between players.

What a completely mental season it’s been.

To save the best performances of the season in the two biggest games (tonight and Forest away) shows progress. I was Enzo out from March but he’s shut me up.

If we can play a similar way next season then sky’s the limit.

He believed we would win playing his way and so did his players. They are fully bought in to what he wants it would appear so he’s here for the foreseeable whether anyone disagrees or not.

Congratulations Enzo.

This is bad statistics, many of those 26 goals were conceded December onwards where we were playing negatively and conceding goals to drop points unnecessarily.
