I reckon that’s him gone. Nobody likes losing but losing when you are putting performances in like that isn’t acceptable. He’s a goner.

No, I don't believe that they get rid of him.

The sporting directors are poison.

Liverpool and Arsenal also have American owners who know eff all. Ours are very ambitious and spend. Difference is they have hired football men who are frauds. I hope the Sporting Directors are being called out and held accountable. Can't just be on the manager.

But as bad as the SD's are, the owners keep them because they will continue to follow the financial model of seeking out no-name players (assets) on potential. Liverpool and Arsenal owners also mostly stay out of the football-related strategies beyond wanting to succeed.

The Financial model is crap. It makes no sense. Spend 2 billion and no improvement. Spend 60m on crap players who we cant recoup the money for. They were hired to find top young talent and Spend big on them. We've just spent big on crap young players.

He has zero clue how to change tactics mid game, absolutely tragic. Emery is 10x the manager that Maresca is.

He essentially knows how to copy and paste Pep's tactic and nothing else.

Poor team selections, poor subs, no tactical adjustments, no player development, hardly any individual managerial ability of his own.

Agreed. I don’t care that they are American. Owners don’t need to know anything about football they just need to hire the right people to run the club and they clearly aren’t at the moment

It is hard to know. But based on some of the cryptic statements Maresca made in recent weeks, it sounds like his relationship with the owners is on thin ice. I doubt the current form is doing anything to help.

Let 's hope that I'm wrong and hope for the best.

I agree. Great example being 2 players we were linked with last couple of years - Semenyo and Olise. We could have signed both for similar to what we spent on Garnacho and Gittens.

I’ve noticed that there’s very little said in the media about Maresca and our poor performances and results. They even use terms like ‘stunning win’ when sides beat us, as if pretending we’re still the club of Terry, Lamps, Drogba et al. I conclude that the media are very happy with our complete stagnation under Blue-Co, and do not want to create waves and put focus and pressure on Maresca just in case they accidentally appoint someone good.

This is just sickening. I wish my anger could be towards the manager. Like sack him and things would get better. It wont. Our problems run deeper than the manager. Ive had enough of Chelsea this season. Not watching anymore. Im not happy and im not entertained.

Another shocking second half performance, how have we spend 2 billion yet have not purchased a world class centre back, have only 2 central midfielders and no real forwards.

This team really needs an experienced manager with a proven record of improving younger players that isn’t obsessed with this tippy tappy nonsense even Pep has now changed how city has play.

Enzo really needs to go and take the other Enzo with him as he doesn’t have the legs for premier league football and doesn’t provide enough to be carried every week.

There is a real prospect that Palmer and Estevao want out in the next year or two due to the style of play and lack of trophies.

We might get a more watchable style of football under a different manager. But bear in mind any replacement has to be a yes man who basically follows the instructions from SD's and owners. We played more entertaining football under Poch for example, but ultimately he fell out with the SD's over transfer decisions.

I suspect we will sell both in the next couple of years to finance the signing of new no-namers.

Even if we sacked him tomorrow whoever comes in has to be told to forget about what happens the rest of this season unless they get to spend in January. Whst a dysfunctional squad. Going forwards yoo many options on right and f**k all remotely adequate opinions on the left side. A collection of bloody mistakes at centre half and an utter waste of time as vice captain. The squad needs an incredible amount of work yet it has cost a f**kimg fortune to build.

They even have James doing PR spins.

Didn't take James to be as thick in the head as everybody else at the club right now. Propaganda got to him I see.

Keep this clown we probably end up between 10th and 6th. Sack him and we are exactly in the same position so we are ultimately f**ked because of Beavis and Butthead.

The dildo of consequence rarely comes lubed!!

We will not get a world class coach with Beavis and Butthead in charge EVER!!!

World class coaches are not yes men they are the opposite.

He’s fallen inline with corporate America.

If you have ever worked for an American organisation this type of spin even when sh*te is hitting the fan is normal.

Or alternatively, he's been very clever with his choice of words !

"I think the last season speaks for itself about how far we’ve come (we're going backwards) and where we’re trying to go (the owners are making mid-table signings ffs), what we’re going to achieve (nothing). I think, with time, everything will only get stronger and better. (surely it can't get any worse) "

Did Villa's substitutions midway in the second half change the game? "Yeah it changed the dynamic. Again, the first half and the first 15 minutes of the second half we should have scored more goals."

So Enzo, why didn't you change the dynamic instead of replacing like for like players aside from a lb for a rb?

It's so frustrating that nobody counters his answer. They ask a question, he gives a sh*tty answer, they move on to next question. He's been talking sh*t since the day he arrived. I've never seen a Chelsea manager have it so easy from the media.
