Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*

Featured Replies

You know the issue is, even when we get a result, we’re eye wateringly boring to watch. When we don’t get a result we’re somehow even worse.

Has been the same ever since this plum took over. Yes we shipped goals for fun under Poch but at least we were entertaining for the most part. Under Enzo we’re sh*t and boring.

This formation is the killer. It’s far too convoluted. Half of every team he picks is not playing anything close to their natural positions.

Maresca won’t change and there isn’t a chance in hell he’ll be here next season. Yesterday will be held up in front of him when he does get sacked as a perfect example of why.

Whatever formation any new manager chooses to play will also be doomed to fail as we don’t buy players for a system. We buy for profit hopefully although that’s even a stretch when you look at how much we pay for unproven players.

Until our recruitment model changes we will never be a force in this league.

Maresca out.

Some thought i was mad at the start of the season when i said he could be gone by Christmas, well he’s hanging by a thread and if we do lose to Bournemouth i think he will be out, he is out of his depth and all the crap about him taking over at City is just that, CRAP, this bloke will end up at Southampton or Ipswich (if hes lucky), putting on his sex toy at LB replacing Cucurella was a disaster, ONCE AGAIN HE COST US A GOAL, people who say it will just be another yes man brought in may well be right, BUT whoever it is cant be as bad if they allow the players to actually express themselves and play football NOT the sideways and backwards sh*t, and settle for a one goal lead and try and bore the opposition to death

Also i see we are now trying to buy not one but two more man city kids, James Mcatee and Oscar Bobb

The problem is that I really really don't want him gone before the two clowns. They cannot be in charge of hiring another coach to manage this team.

Its just one massive mess.

He needs to go, he’s sh*t. But, the board and SD’s are to blame for the unbalanced team they’ve built and they need to go too.

Yes.

My prediction is Maresca will be gone this summer unless we won something.

It got nothing to do with the results. His stance before last few months had been "I am in love with the squad". Then in the last months, he has started to voice some complain.

Our real problem is simple. All we need to do is to focus on our winger situation

If you look at neto as squad player, you will say great versatile option. You look at garnacho as player who comes off the bench the majority of the time, you will say good player. The same with estevao/gittens. If you look at them as kids, no problem.

This has been our problems, it is that simple. We have player playing role above their quality. But because of our board is running cheaper, young and low salary transfer policy we will always have player playing above their quality.

I've lost faith in him months ago, he's always reactionary and experimental.

Do the SD really know what team they want to build? The squad is crying out for some experience, it's missing an experienced title winning CB that is good aerially with good positioning and a high scoring LW that can mesh with anyone.

Scrap Bounanotte, Gittens, Tosin, Badiashile, Disasi. Recoup some of that money and actually buy the players that we need.

The squad is actually not that bad, the team can score at a good level, chance creation is there and a lot of the time the team can control the ball well enough and play at a good intensity. We struggle at defensive stability and lack decisive scoring.

The SD hired some rugby coach for mentality coaching but doesn't spend extra on someone that can teach shot selection.

Under a better manager, this team can be better

Yep.

The point that is currently overlooked is the inaccurate assumptions made by all that we are buying young so that the squad develops together over time to become a powerhouse in 3-5 years time.

Why are people assuming this? Any farmer of lambs knows, you have to send them off to market at the right time, regardless. Leave it too long and your lambs become sheep and nobody is buying mutton. So you have to keep an endless supply of gangly, fresh lambs coming in in order to replenish the slightly more mature lambs going off to market.

Now in order to maintain the ridiculous notion of a project, there needs to be a poster boy or two to stay to sell the dream and validate the model. So Palmer could be trapped. James too. The rest, every one of them, is fair game, cos there are another batch of unknowns waiting to come in.

At this point, I'm guessing his plan is to take us back to the conference league, win it again, and keep his job for another year.

This is the problem. Even when we win, for the most part we look absolutely crap. We haven't comfortably blown away a single team this season from minute one.

Mitigating circumstances with West Ham as we went a goal down and Barcelona who missed an absolute sitter and got a red card.

The Emegha situation hasn't helped, but even outside of that, I think the Strasbourg fall off is by design to avoid the conflict of interest and multi-club model issues that would come from both BlueCo sides qualifying for the Champions League 😎

Panichelli is probably just another bang average Argentine who had a hot streak, and what we are seeing now is his normal level ?

Theres no way Maresca survives to the end of the season UNLESS we win a trophy and look like finishing in top 4, the next two games could finally end him

Bournemouth and then City

Lose those and we could be as low as 12th if results go against us

As for The puppet at Strasbourg, he wont be the next manager, they are falling down faster then a pair of bonnie blues knickers

I just find the tweet hilarious because it is yet again shows the blatant obvious yet BlueCo are scratching their heads.

Maresca confirmed that Fofana was unused against Unai Emery's side solely to ‘manage his fitness condition’. The centre-back has not started back-to-back matches for the Blues this term as his workload continues to be carefully handled following injury.

Why is he being prioritised as a first choice CB then?

Why not Acheampong then? Who's been significantly better than Badiashile and Tosin? This too wouldn't have to have Chalobah go from LCB to RCB every other match.

Emegha, Enciso, Mainoo, Quenda, Jacquet.

There's are summer window.

He needs better players.

Tell that to Leicester fans who by far and away had the best squad in the championship, only for they too have a mid season slump and play pedestrian football + heavy rotation.

Other teams had worked out what Maresca was doing & worked out how to beat his system.. He is nothing if not stubborn & refused to change even though it was obvious what was happening.

Won't have to worry about that for next year. Maybe for the conference league at best.

Nor did I say it did.

In addition to all they have done wrong they have appointed managers not fit to the task each time.

potter, poch, maresca. They are not good enough for where we feel our club should be.

If you appointment Poor managers then you get poor mistakes.

Nobody forced them to appoint those managers. And nobody will force them to appoint the next jelly yes man who will also make poor mistakes.

Wouldn't include Poch with the other two useless f**kwits.

Poch might not have been everyone's ideal choice but I would take him back in a heartbeat over the fraud Maresca. No way would we be playing this sh*t brand of dull football and having to watch the likes of Badiashille and Gusto if Poch was in charge and I'm certain Acheampong and Estevao would have been getting a lot more playing time too.

So want this dreadful Maresca Era to be over. The end cannot come soon enough.

This doesn't need repeating but we must investigate why he picks Gusto and plays him as the makeshift every thing.

He's not even a James Milner type player so why is he the go-to guy for Maresca.
