This guy has been completely out of control recently. It's one thing to be passionate but to lose your head time and again is unacceptable, and the team is suffering as a result.

Quite a few rumours linking Neto with a move to Barcelona this summer. I could see that happening if we get a decent offer.

Something I've only just recently started noticing is he does a lot of those float crosses into the box.

Feels like every cross he does is of that kind and its very annoying cause either the keeper gets it or if we do somehow win the header because its floating we dont get enough power on it to actually score from them

If this "BlueCo model" goes by the rule of "we sign players on long contracts so they can be sold easily if things do not work", as people say, then this summer is probably the time we see this rule applied.

PSG have said no, and Madrid don’t pay big money for over 21s any more. Can we stop with this phantom Madrid interest, he isn’t starting ahead of Valverde, Bellingham, Guler etc.

None of those you mentioned is a deep lying playmaker. I stay up to date with the Spanish newspapers and Madrid admire Enzo Fernandez for some time now. They are not really happy with Tchouameni and Camavinga and want someone in the mould of how Enzo Fernandez plays for Argentina. If Madrid do not win anything important this season be sure they will spend big. It is what they do, especially during a WC summer. Vitinha and Enzo are their main targets. If they get Vitinha, PSG bids for Enzo. If Madrid go for Enzo, PSG keep Vitinha.

Fernandez isn't going to sit deep and ping passes to Vinicius and Mbappe. He wants to be an attacking 10 that bum-rushes the box to get on the end of crosses and he was indulged to do so by Maresca. He isn't interested in playing deep. He could have been that player but he doesn't want to.

Tchouameni has fallen off a form cliff since Ancelotti's last season, where he was shafted having to play at CB and even FB at times to cover an injury crisis in defence. He's had some good games this season but they need an upgrade. The optimist in me hopes that Tchouameni is in a similar situation to Yaya Toure at Barcelona, and a new club and a distinct role will revitalise his career. Camavinga is almost the exact opposite of Enzo Fernandez, a pure facilitator with limited output - basically another Mateo Kovacic.

I hope that Madrid throw the bank at him and frankly it would be hilarious to see him go from BlueCo's mascot to riding the bench, but Madrid fans are loving how industrious their midfield is these days and it is necessary to cover the defensive liability of the front three. I think they will almost certainly break the bank for Caicedo, especially if he/Ecuador has a good World Cup. He is exactly what they need.

Couldn't put my finger on why I didn't like his crossing game and I think you've nailed it.

Reminds me a bit of when Hakim Ziyech's form collapsed, I remember him putting vicious balls to the back post at A**x but for most of his time here he would deliver absolute pies that were easily dealt with.
