October 20, 20241 yr I’ve started to see the Caicedo that we’d hoped he’s been great again today. Hes been very good this season and the ass end of last season. Enzo, I’m not so sure
October 20, 20241 yr Come on Cole, pull your f**king finger out and stick one up these Scouse f**kpigs.
October 20, 20241 yr Liverpool have had edge on us for years now and it's showing no signs of changing. Doesn't matter how we play, or they play, they beat us anyway.

October 20, 20241 yr surely that should be a yellow for MacAllistert. (just in case no one read my first message about it) Edited October 20, 20241 yr by RMH

October 20, 20241 yr Whatever the result today I'm immensely impressed with the development of our young team and the way Maresca has improved the team and our style of play
October 20, 20241 yr Not even taking the piss any experienced sweeper keeper would have saved that second shot by being further up the field when curtis had that sh*t first touch
October 20, 20241 yr If we go on and lose today it will not be because Liverpool were the better team, its because we simply self imploded and never had the belief going forward albeit that Liverpool sat deeper than expected; seeing that we still didn't change the game plan and continued playing at a snails pace and making stupid errors in the process. We still have a lot to learn as a team, the season is long but this stretch of games will be a big learning curve. Apart from the goal, Jackson offered no threat in the final 3rd and while Jackson benefits from pace, in tight games like this he's pretty much nullified. I think we will see Neto preferred over Sancho going forward as he offered more in 45 mins than Noni and Sancho combined. Palmer perhaps was due an off day, but as we can see, when he does none of the others can step up...and we need a new keeper next season...

Just saw a stat that they've only lost 3 domestic games out of over 70 at their place.
October 20, 20241 yr We’ve let them away with this, honestly wasn’t expecting too much but it’s been weak enough. But we haven’t been battered and will get better.
October 20, 20241 yr Caicedo is wearing the captains armband tonight while Enzo's on the pitch and that should absolutely continue! Proper captains and leaders performance from him tonight.
October 20, 20241 yr 6 minutes ago, Scott Harris said: Why are we so shy at playing a through ball when it's on? Neto was free multiple times and nobody would play the pass. It's cowardly, everybody is constantly looking for the safe option. They can't say they didn't hear him, he was shouting constantly to play the pass. Glad someone else has grasped this, we're going forward, people make space, we pause, look around, and make a1 metre pass side ways or backwards. so frustrating.

October 20, 20241 yr We deserved at least a draw. Stupid mistakes at the back cost us yet again, for the 1000th time. Oh well, football is unfair, life is unfair. We move on.
