Fair point but still a world class striker on the wings hould still produce something like a chance

I don't think today tells us anything to be honest....only that we are still  finding ways to throw away games in the most stupidest of ways.  Liverpool today were subdued and changed their style of play, clearly the manager did not want a run and gun all out attacking game but we were slow to react playing at snails pace into their hands allowing them to counter attack every time we lost the ball..I doubt Liverpool broke a sweat today.

Yeah turned out that way, but we're only 8 games into the League season, and we looked well  ok until the penalty. 

There's lots improvements to be made before a top 4 is achievable, and Maresca can sometimes make baffling decisions.

I feel like top 4 is a realistic goal for us this season.

Diaz is better than Sancho and Mudryk combined.

I don't think we are any better than last season. Defensively, we are as atrocious as ever and they will cost us so many points, but in attack I still don't see the ruthlessness at big moments. We never play a 90 minutes of controlled football. The games we do win seem to come from just winning through having more talent than the opposition.

I dunno feels like Liverpool were there for the taking.  Silly mistakes

We won't get back into proper Europe if every match we fall asleep defending. Every game we do it and it's just a roll of the dice to if we get punished or not.
