1. Those subs vs Fulham wouldn't have changed a thing and this match is the absolute proof of it so you're already proven wrong.

2. If these fresh players can't perform vs the worst team in the league it's literally not on the manager that gave them all the conditions to succeed.

He's really not all that. The problem is our defenders don't defend, so they don't know how to deal with a player that puts himself about. We have had defenders over the years that would have defended against Delap with ease. Terry, Silva, Cahill, they would have pocketed him.

I’d sell all 3 CBs tomorrow. 

Lack of an available RB, the Monaco idiots, and only one real CF option that actually isn’t any good. 
 

This is our bed and we will need to lie in it. Just need to try and resolve some of these issues in Jan transfer window.

I agree. Even during our unbeaten run, the defending was still a huge worry and continues to be. 

An unfortunate combo of sh*t players making basic mistakes each game and a lack of proper defensive coaching. My only gripe against Maresca so far.

Unfortunately there will be better teams with bigger chequebooks. 

After 5 minutes of playing the ball between each other Neto, Gusto and Palmer managed to give it straight to the opposition keeper. Urgh.

They are collectively the worst defenders I have ever seen in my lifetime play at this football club. They are being babysat by a 21 year old.
