it depends, if the overall output is less with the striker you describe then i would prefer the fake striker who doesn't score as much but other players get loads of chances and goals 

ideally i would like a mix of both types, which should be possible for a club of our stature

i think we are playing really well today, but these chances need to be burried

but say we put a different striker in place of jackson and we play kinda sh*t but the 1 chance we get gets burried …
