In isolation, he looks like a really promising CB.

But that's honestly where it ends. If this is the only signing we make in January we aren't finishing Top 4 unless Jackson gets out of this rut.

20M is bat sh*t crazy.

I wish these morons in charge would just stop wasting money and spend these combined sums on real footballers. Embarrassing.

My first reaction was an ' Oh for f**ks sake' as well. Stop the stockpiling of children for absurd money and buy some dyed in the wool adults who can slot into our team now.

To be fair to our esteemed sporting directors, they have also signed some players we already owned.

Actually looking at the clip that Pys has put on his twitter, i think he looks bl00dy awful.

The Garnacho bollox is still rumbling on as well.

Chelsea are set to sign Mamadou Sarr from Strasbourg for €20m. He will remain on loan until the end of the season @FabriceHawkins.

. . .and then will most likely be loaned out somewhere else.

Don't we own Strasbourg?  This is just some klever money laundering type sh1t.

I give up. These owners aren't serious. It's clear where they are taking us at this point. They just want to sign a bunch of kids, raise their value, then sell them. There is no plan to get this club challenging again. They won't say it outright because fans will stop going to games, but it's clear this is where we are going.

I guarantee they are already planning for the day they can sell Palmer.

I think they want to achieve both goals at the same time.  Problem is they aren’t very good at either.  Plus profiting off youngsters and winning trophies at the same time impede each other’s progress.  There’s only a limited amount of money that needs to be split between each goal.

We should be making a title winning team first and foremost.  Then we can have a hunger games tournament for all the young players to decide who’s good enough to make the team or be sold for profit.

Comes here in the summer, maybe that means Anselmino goes there to replace him in the summer.

They still have a spot free for this window after we recalled the injured Caleb Wiley.

Looks like he might be ideal for our "passing it around at the back" tactics/strategy, and good for bringing the ball forwards once a game as well !

Not bad at tackling, but other than that, from a defensive standpoint it looks like yet more work for Moises LOL

Aerials Won is impressive though for a guy who is 194cm ... 🙂

We'll sell somebody promising either in this window or in the summer, and the owners will say "it's because of PSR".......but PSR wouldn't be an issue at all if we didn't keep throwing money at young players like this.

I remember watching his father play for Senegal in the World Cup. A CB that has played English football would be optimal but who knows.

Club reported financial irregularities regarding Roman and transfers. Who is going to report CFC to police for money laundering? It is criminal to play 14 games and pay 20 Million Euros? Does this mean we're moving archie on for 10 million to pay for it.

Gilchrist is as good as sold already. Love his attitude, but he's behind Acheampong in the defender hierarchy, and probably not room for both of them

Humphreys is another one.

None of that detracts from the Sarr purchase being (a) un-necessary and (b) a ridiculous fee. The fact that he was already owned by BlueCo, dictates that this transfer is just financial engineering. Presumably Strasbourg have PSR issues and need some help to satisfy the rules for 24/25.

Hmmm. Get all that, but I dont really give a toss about Strasbourg, lovely place and city in a beautiful part of the world... I dont give a rats toss about Strasbourgs PSR... I dont give a toss about our owers business empire. They are continuing to make terrible decisions for CFC.

For now, it's not a transfer I can care about given how our CURRENT attacking issues are looking at the minute, let alone a future CB incoming. Just sign a f**king striker that isn't 15 years old playing in the Guatemalan second division.

Nah, they are looking at more wingers instead...
