March 16, 20251 yr Does Maresca have a plan? Looks like ee have no plan at all. In front we have nothing, nobody attacking. The only thing Maresca fotball can do is pass the ball at the back.
March 16, 20251 yr Maresca “ WE WERE STILL IN IT THERE WAS NOTHING BETWEEN US AND WE ARE GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION”He’s right about one thing WE ARE GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION LIKE HIS FOOTBALL - BACKWARDS
March 16, 20251 yr Gary Cahill as bad as MarescaAsked do you enjoy watching them he said“Yes of course, they are going in the right direction ….” ZzzzzzzIs he still on the payroll?
March 16, 20251 yr Getting used to this now! Poor to watch supposed to be entertaining. Saying we controlled game after 20 mins I don’t see it.

These guys were all Chelsea players at one point, they played under much better coaches and they still ended up sacked, so they should stop with the toxic positivity, they know more than anybody that it gets you knowhere.Time waits for nobody in this sport.

What the cretinous oaf is clearly fking incapable of comprehending is that if you are 1-0 down after 20 mins and fail to have a shot on target its because the opposition have let you have control because they know that your team formation and tactics are sh*t.

The good days, where he contributes a nice pass, the odd goal, or ‘chances created’ are all offset by the lack of balance there. Those two have been given enough time, the Lavia injuries and others being loaned out, all to cater for the sporting directors golden boy, and yet still. A successful future, is without him. Can't remember a more boring and turgid team since the last time we were relegated. Utter dross.
March 16, 20251 yr Chelsea have become so bad I can no longer put up an arguable defence when talking to other fans
March 16, 20251 yr Maresca is like that bloke on the BBC who came in for a job interview and accidentally found himself on the news mistaken for a technology journalist. Are we sure Maresca isn’t actually just a janitor?
March 16, 20251 yr A really poor game. Arsenal was well below their level, and we without Palmer seemed to accept the 0:1 after going behind. There was just no urgency to do anything, I recalled their GK made one real save ( a flop) against Cucu, other than that the GK was a spectator. The last kick of the game, nobody even tried to charge into the box for a bit of a scrap, their defender made an easy knock down and waved arms up like scored a goal 🤨 Then there was that bizarre moment Maresca shaked Timber's hand with a minute to go. I mean good sportsmanship or whatever, you aren't there to make friends, not when you are behind in a derby. You would never see a good manager doing something like that in that scenario, the least you could do is to stay silent ( like the past 90 minutes)

March 16, 20251 yr How is it that as soon as the team line up was announced it was almost certain we were going to lose? As soon as Arsenal scored the game was over. Must’ve been the easiest three points of their season. Maresca seemed pleased we only lost 1-0. The truth is Arsenal didn’t have to bother after they scored. And Maresca was happy for the game to drift to its inevitable conclusion as did the players given the lack of any urgency. How has it come to this? It’s pathetic.

Some of the players we've got (or had) are much better than they look under Maresca but walking the ball up to opposition's box isn't going to create chances or get us anywhere.

Eghbali and co probably just get fed the score line without context anyway, and go about their day.

Why do you feel a need to defend us to other clubs fans?I mean we are what we are now, no reason to sugarcoat it. Is like playing terribly but winning a game "yup you lot were the better side but we won and I will happily take it". Is what it is.
March 18, 20251 yr From Caicedo’s comments, it’s clear Maresca and those above are training them in what to say after every defeat. James said the exact same thing when we pathetically lost at the Ethiad. “Oh they’ve been together for X years.”

Longevity for longevity sake equates to what exactly.. when there’s no development or upward trajectory. Would rather hear nothing at all if they weren’t contractually obliged for the post-match stuff, just so redundant.

Mourinho came in and signed 15+ players and won the league first time of asking besting an Invincible Arsenal squad that had been together with the same manager for years. Conte, Tuchel, Ancelotti all winning big things in their first season. Not sure why we need 5+ years together to instill any form of cohesion. Edited March 19, 20251 yr by Ukraine Bolt
